Should we work on "Sensei Kunshu" / "My Teacher, My Love"?

Note: This will surely be dropped if there are no Japanese subtitles in the digital media release.
--------------
Pros about the film and English subtitle production:
- Very easy to translate from Japanese to English (even though we aren't sure if there would be Japanese captions in the film (if there isn't, this film is good as dropped))
- Very funny with the overreacting of the actors and actresses
- Minami Hamabe is sooo cute <3
- Ryoma Takeuchi's performance as a stoic teacher is something fangirls will like
- The nostalgia of the Judy and Mary song used in most of the film
Cons about the film and English subtitle production:
- Main translator, Ais, still has to finish "Hitsuji to Hagane no Mori" and "Yakinuku Dragon" (along with next episodes of "GeGeGe no Kitaro 2007", "Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni 2018", and translations for "Wing-Man" scanlations (along with the Video Girl Ai 2018 oneshot manga scanlations)).
- The film is relatively not within the standards of a film TL-SkewedS would pick up (but it would probably have been different if Ais was not able to watch the film in theatres and would have typically watched it while translating)
- Forbidden romance of teacher-student plot
- Typical shoujo film with all the fluff
- Relatively a very simple film
- Relatively forgettable film

Okay, here's the thing. I watched this film when it was out in theatres last time when I was in Tokyo last year. To be frank, it didn't give me a lasting impression that I would like to translate the film making English subtitles.
But to be fair, it would probably have been different if I was not able to watch the film in theatres and would have typically watched it while translating. In other words, if I wasn't able to watch it in theatres, I should have surely picked it up.
I'm in constant contact with other more active Japanese film fan translators. One of them is Rjgman56. We are more or less always having agreements which one between the two of us would pick which newer Japanese films to translate in English and make subtitles out of it. (That's why "Inuyashiki" was Rjgman56's and "Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun" was TL-SkewedS').
So I leave it to the patrons to decide if we should pick up translating the film.
PS: In the event that TL-SkewedS won't pick this up, me, Ais, can concentrate on other films in his plate (mainly the two main priority films "Hitsuji to Hagane no Mori" and "Yakinuku Dragon" (and the upcoming "3D Kanojo Riaru Garu", "Sunny: Tsuyoi Kimochi Tsuyoi Ai", "Hibiki" (not entirely sure about this yet as keeping in contact with Keyakizaka46 fansubbers but Ais is very interested in this title), "Kohi ga Samenai Uchi ni", "Code Blue: Dokuta Heri Kinkyu Kyumei"); along with the two lower priority films when he has time that won in the not so long ago poll).

2019-01-23 16:30:51 +0000 UTCNo need to apologize, I personally am also a fan of Minami Hamabe (and even bought her first photobook along with other craploads of fandom stuff where my main source of income is getting burned LOL) - https://www.instagram.com/p/BqL7L3KBiDu/ Besides, we need honest answers so no problem there :)

2019-01-23 15:52:20 +0000 UTCSorry, I also like Minami Hamabe, so my vote is Yes! Don't want to take you away from other higher priority projects, but would like the opportunity to see this if it doesn't get picked up by somebody else. Thank you as always!
