Saving Private Ryan (1998) - WATCH ALONG Full Length Reaction

Well it's official, I've finally watched a movie that made me cry BWEHHHH! This movie was so sad, vivid, raw, it left me speechless at many times, and emotional at other times. I don't typically watch war movies, perhaps it's because of how sad and horrible war is, however I'm happy I watched this movie. I've never seen anything quite like it. To watch along with me you'll need your own copy of the movie, or rent it on Amazon Prime like I did weeee :) I hope you enjoy my reaction!

xD Ughhh! I had to back away from the computer for a good bit the other day so I closed the browser, thinking that the video was hosted on YouTube like many others are and have been. I did that because I've got the ability to continue from where I left off when watching YouTube content. This ISN'T on YouTube though! xD So now I've got to restart the whole thing over again and I'm pretty bummed about that. Could be worse though. Could be a movie that I can't stand watching.

Tell me I'm a good man (TT_TT) Gets me every time.

The whole Omaha beach fiasco was partially a mix up, partially bad weather, and a major part incredible German tactics and engineering. And no, the US stategists were expecting some heavy casualties, just not to the level that occurred. One part of WWII that gets overlooked is just how efficient the Axis, particularly Germany, was as a super power. Another film, FURY w/ Brad Pitt, you get to see an incredible tank fight with one of the very best machines of WWII. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the overall film. The themes and story are truly humanizing. The topic of WWII honestly just bring out a lot of human emotions, no matter what side you witness, Russian, German, Italian, Spanish, French, English, American, Japanese, Chinese, Australian. There are incredible films that capture almost every side of humanity. Can't wait to enjoy your experience with this genre!

I'll be watching later today, looking forward to it.

This was great, GG Lauren, this movie is a real tear jerker and one of Spielberg's best films, bonus for me seeing two of my fave TV actors- Bryan Cranston and a young Nathan Fillion as the mistaken Private Ryan, I may be wrong but this might have been Vin Diesel's first movie if not one of the first.

FUBAR=Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition sums up war in general in my opinion. i got just the slightest taste of what these characters went through when i was in Iraq in 2006. in the dense soup of death, destruction and terror that is war, humanity always ends up rising to the top. this movie captures that beautifully, better than any movie i have seen to this day. one day we hopefully will realize that war just isnt worth sacrifice that humanity endures.

Your thumbnail gave me hope that we viewers have accomplished one mission and that being making you cry by watching a tear jerker movie. I’m watching right it now!!

We finally got the answer if Laurenn cried. I usually watch this movie once a year. Can't wait to watch along with Laurenn and see her reaction.

I have seen this movie a couple of times. It is a never ending wave until the end. Many WW2 vets who went to see this walked out after the first twenty minutes. Not because it was a bad movie but because it was too real. Thy said it took them back to that day on the beach. Yes, an incredibly powerful movie that shows why war is the murder of the soul. Sending a hug. Thank you for watching it with us. Peace and love

The 2 places that really got me were, visiting the brothers' mom & talking to the gravestone at the end.
