As Adrian and Emily take a stroll through Velmara’s central park, he slowly begins adjusting to the unfamiliar swish of his floral dress and the curious glances from passersby. Though still embarrassed, he starts to accept that this is simply how things are now. Just as he begins to relax, a friendly popsicle seller calls out to him, gushing over how adorable he looks. Before he can even react, she hands him a free popsicle, calling it a treat for a cute new girl.
Mortified yet oddly flattered, Adrian hesitates, mumbling a shy “thanks.” But Emily isn’t about to let that slide—if he’s going to embrace his new role, he needs to act the part. With a playful nudge, she reminds him to say thank you properly, like a polite young lady. Begrudgingly, Adrian forces himself to smile sweetly and give a more graceful response, much to the seller’s delight. As they walk away, Emily teases him, pointing out that being adorable might not be such a bad thing after all. And, as he takes a bite of his free treat, Adrian can’t entirely disagree.
