Mortified at the thought of wearing another dress, Axel protests, but with no other dry options, he’s forced to consider it. Flushing deep red, he demands Jett turn around while he rummages through the available outfits. Jett obliges, though not without a teasing remark that makes Axel’s heart race even more. As he hesitantly picks out something to wear, Axel can’t shake the overwhelming embarrassment of the situation—or the warmth he feels from Jett’s playful yet kind demeanor.
