But as he walks, his reflection in a glass window stops him in his tracks. His body has changed: softer curves, delicate features, and a more feminine presence. His efforts to hold on to his identity crumble when the other punks in the alley mistake him for a girl and begin catcalling him. Torn between frustration and disbelief, Axel struggles to hold onto who he used to be while grappling with the unnerving reality of what he’s becoming.
