Medical update

Since I’m a bit more clear headed I can talk about what happened now.  
Many of you know I’ve been in pain since November and basically on bed rest since, unable to sit up or do much of anything. I had an ultrasound because they thought it was gallstones, that was a no, we had an X-ray but that showed nothing as well. Doc decided it might be a separation of the rib cartilage and ordered a CT scan early December. I’ve been in bed since then just waiting because my insurance decided to wait until right before Christmas to deny the scan. We had to appeal and finally got the approval on the 4th. I had my scan on Thursday morning expecting it to just confirm the rib problem. I got a call from my doc 2 hours later telling me to get to an ER because my appendix is enlarged and might burst. This was strange because the pain was in the wrong area and was having no other symptoms for appendicitis but if that was the problem I’ve literally had a small bomber in me for the last month and have been so lucky it hadn’t popped. So I went into the hospital and they kept me overnight on anitibiotics/fluids because they needed to see my CT scan before they could operate as again was having NO other symptoms to indicate anything was wrong with it (also didn’t wanna scan me again and expose me to more radiation) spent a rough night unable to sleep, constantly being woken up to check vitals, have more blood drawn etc so was exhausted. Bloodwork still normal and nothing see,Ed wrong with me aside from rib pain. At 9am I’m suddenly taken down to pre op, and they go over that my appendix is enlarged and also abit higher up then they normally are. They said the scan showed nothing wrong with my ribs so they’re just gonna remove the appendix to stay on the safe side and see how I am in 2 weeks. So I had the surgery and was sent home a few hours later. Been sleeping a lot and trying to rest since moving hurts but I am doing well and can get up on my own now.

won’t know for another week or more if the rib pain is completely gone since I hurt too much elsewhere to tell but I am feeling better and have been able to sit on the couch for the first time since November. I havent been able to much besides a few doodles so I’m mad I don’t have much to update with BUT I have had a bunch of ideas while I’ve been afk and can’t wait to flesh them out. I’ve missed drawing a lot and can’t wait caught up on my ideas 

I really appreciate all the support with all these delays, I really miss drawing and can’t wait to flesh out all the ideas i’ve had while stuck laying in bed <3
