Alternatively just grab some kind of uninsulated crimp terminal, cut the crimp bit out and use that ;)

Nice video, short and sweet :) If your copper tape fix doesn't hold, there's a method often used on 3D printers which might help you.
Take a bootlace ferrule and remove the plastic part. Keep the metal tube. Push the wire in one side and the Pt1000 lead into the other. Crimp it -- either use a ferrule crimper or a pair of pliers.
This is often done on 3D printer hot-end temperature sensors, which can reach 300C or more.
