Todays issue is about the E3. Why? - Because I love to draw guys from games and the E3 is a preview of the future: New games, guys, new art.
The last days I watched a lot of game trailers and gameplay clips and some really caught my attention:
"The Evil Within 2"
I enjoyed the first game and I am happy, that they are producing a new one with better graphics and better controls. The story might be around mental diseases and hallucinations again and the trailer is beautiful and creative. It reminds me of porcelain or wax and I hope to see Sebastian Castellanos again. He is on my drawing list.
"Days Gone"
A bearded guy running around in a world full of zombies. He tries to survive and to solve threatening situations more or less violent or smart.
The game looks promising and the mechanics remind me of Uncharted and TLOU. The main character has a good chance to get a place on my drawing list.
"Vampyr"
I saw a trailer of this game one year ago and now they showed a new one (the guy has a beard now). The main character is a vampire in London and there will be vampire hunters and other vampires and trouble and the whole city is a mess of crime and supernatural beings.
I am excited to see more and the main character looks exciting, too.
"Shadow of War"
Talion is back! He builds an orc army to defend humans from the evil and he is still cursed and possessed by a ghost.
I loved the first Mordor game, because of the smart enemies, that were able to remember your tactics and the whole game had some challenging moments. Talion with orcs - that sounds like a nice idea for a drawing.
"Assassin´ s Creed: Origins"
There is a new AC game ahead and although many people criticize the repetitive elements in each part, I am going to buy it. I like the series and I started with part 3 and I prefer to have a look myself and to have my own opinion.
I do so with each game in general.
Origins takes place in ancient Egypt and I am interested in the story around a new assassin. Maybe I gonna draw him, too.
"God of War 4"
I have never played a game from the series before, but the trailer and gameplay seem interesting and the northern location looks nice.
I will keep an eye on Kratos new adventure.
"Xenoblade Chronicles 2"
I wonder about the new story, although I am not a fan of the young, stereotype anime, design of the characters. I also do not understand, why female characters in many games do not have proper clothing. You can´ t fight or move right with little fabric on your body - or you catch a cold.
And I have played a game with a spirit inside of a sword before, that was a very annoying one: Captain Obvious lives inside the Master Sword.
Anyway - I follow the news around XC2.
So there is only one game left I was hoping for new news at the E3:
"The Last Of Us 2"
TLOU is one of my favourite games and one I played the most. I look forward to part 2 and I totally understand Naughty Dog, that they focus on advertising the "Uncharted" special game "The Lost Legacy" with two women as the main characters: Chloe and Nadine. The trailer looks great and I feel the treasure hunting spirit! At this point I need to say, that Naughty Dog creates great and strong female and male characters, real personalities, no amazons or warriors, just believable people who are able to handle things on their own. And they have proper clothes.
That is all for now. Of course I saw more trailers, but there are game magazins and others who will write about them.
If you like videogames I recommend you to check out the latest news about your favourite company or game. There is always something to discover in the sfw and nsfw world.
