Have they tried: Stone 2 in cup 1 and stone 4 in cup 2? (one:two) Stone 4 in cup 1 and stone 8 in cup 2? (one:two) The reverse of either of the above? (cup*contents=cup*contents) Stones 2 and 8 in one cup and stones 4 and 6 in the other? (contents=contents) Reading the clues?
