Yooo my bad i dont think ive ever told yall. Go up to your top Apple Menu bar, and click/hover over the "Mix" option. In that menu there's something called "Autoselect Automation Parameter in Read Mode". If you turn that on, any automation you click will come up when you have the automation lanes open. It should also stay like that for all future projects
