Serum Presets - Week 29 [WUBS]

Bruh. Bruh. Bruuuhhhh. These are low key some of my best presets ever. I accidentally made a wub a few days back and was like "well, this is gonna happen lol"

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND
For most of the presets, Macro 4 is routed as "Stab vs Swell". And in many cases even Macros 2 or 3 are labeled something along the lines of "curve" or "tail curve". PLEASE EXPERIMENT WITH THESE. You can turn most of these wub basses into pluck/stab basses as well as long swells for fills. They are extreeeeeemely versatile.

It's wild because I make so many pluck basses the ideas were getting stale. But approaching these wubs, I was forced to look at wavetables differently. Sliding the LFOs back to a stab/pluck position gave me pluck bass sounds I've always wanted to achieve before. Wild textures here

So so stoked about this one. Working on getting samples out this week along with some videos.

ALSO, I GOT A NEW APARTMENT!

I found a perfect new apartment, with so much extra space for a studio and I'm gonna be all to myself. Many of you don't know, but I have been living in a situation for the last few years that hasn't allowed me to express myself artistically to my full capacity. Not a bad situation, but one where I can't work at the hours I want to, be the whacky human I want to be. But finally, in May, I am going to have the sickest producer pad all to myself. I'm freakin out man.

That said, the end of April/start of May is going to be really rough for me on time with moving and setting up the home. I am going to be taking time off from everything (besides 1 gig) between April 27th - May 3rd. That means presets, content, lessons, mixing/mastering, all will be on hold.

Please please stick by me during that time, as I promise the content that comes after is gonna be kicked up to the max. And lessons will start!
