NEW TIER: ONE PRIVATE LESSON PER MONTH

Hey all!

Super excited to announce and experiment with this tier.

As some of you already know, I have been teaching music production lessons for over a year. During that time I've learned so much about how to be effective on the education side of this industry. I've teetered on whether or not I could handle this, but I know I could now.

So starting in the month of May, I will be opening a new tier for $80 which will give you access to one hour of a zoom lesson per month, and include all of the benefits you're currently receiving (so you won't have to pay $80+$10, just the $80).

I'M GOING TO START BY LIMITING THIS TIER TO 10 SUBSCRIBERS PER MONTH TO SEE WHAT I COULD HANDLE. WE WILL GO FROM THERE IF MORE WANT TO JOIN.

Just gonna rapid fire some FAQ shiii

- How are the lessons done?

Over Zoom, I have a pro account (finally iykyk lol).

- Wait, you're on Logic and I'm on Ableton, can you actually help me?

Absolutely! The majority of my students are on Ableton and between collaborations and lessons, I'd say I'm pretty ableton savvy myself.

- How do I know that I'm ready for lessons with you?

I would not suggest signing up for lessons with me if you're brand new to production (still learning hot keys, where things are in the DAW, the step-1 basics). I think that you would be wasting your money on lessons with me for things you could easily pull from Reddit and Youtube. There are amazing tutorials that give you the grand tour and basics on Youtube. That said, I'm def an (un)certified Logic Pro Expert, so I can definitely help if you're a beginner with specific Logic questions.

However, if you know how to place things in your project, the general way things work, have an idea what kind of music you want to make, then I can definitely help you. Basically a step 2 producer, step 1 could be knocked out in a few nights on the web.

My current regular student base consists of producers across the board in experience levels. Most of which are part of this Patreon. I've worked with people who are just figuring out what technical plugins do, and some who are signing legitimate tracks. So yeah, basically if you're not looking at a DAW for the firs time, I got you.

- Hey Proppa, you twat, I'm on FL Studio/Cubase/Bitwig

I'll be honest, I am not a seasoned producer on these DAWs. That said, I can't help producers who are at an ultra basic level. HOWEVER, all the concepts are the same. Compressors, EQs, Music Theory is all the same, so if you have some experience, you'll still learn<3

- How do I get my lesson on the schedule?

You will be able to reserve you hour through Calendly (most likely, or another app but prob that one). The times that I'm not available will be marked off already.

- What if I want 2 hours instead of 1?

Happy to give you the second hour for an extra $50. Please communicate with me indivdually on this, payment will be worked out on the side.

- What if there's a month where I can't do the hour?

Look ya'll, there's 2 sides to this. I completely understand that things happen. It's okay. I've unfortunately had issues with people taking advantage of my time with cancellations in the past so here is the policy

1. If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson, (obviously people get sick so case-by-case), and there are no other days available for us in the month; then I will carry your hour over to the next billing period, where you will get a 2 hour lesson instead

2. If I, myself, have to cancel your lesson and we can't reschedule, you will get 2.5 hours the next billing period

3. If you burn me on the day of and there's no legitimate reason/no more open days, I'm sorry ya'll. That's what gets me in a hole. Talk to me and we'll see if we could work something out.

Everything is always case by case, you could always message me on here or on discord if there's an issue. I don't bite I promise, just gotta have a policy

- I can't afford this but I still would love to get in a Zoom with you.

I feel that my friend. Well guess what, I am planning out large scale classes to hit Patreon this Summer. That's right, I'm going to be doing sessions in Zoom with many of you at once for a much cheaper price. Once I get this moving, I'm gonna start slow rolling that. Probably with a free trial run. I'll have that tier of subscribers vote on the lesson topics. It's gonna be fkn rad, yo.
