The beginning of the episode is showing flashbacks to the very first episode - with the same song even playing! So the clip of Kevin talking about the challenger explosion was actually from the first episode of the show, they actually mention the challenger a few times in the pilot so it's cool they're talking about it in the premiere of the final season. There were so many flashbacks and callbacks to the first episode it made me sad to realise this is the last season, like they're really hammering that home! I'm not ready omg Also I think you missed a nice moment when the kids were singing to Kate and Phillip looked at her - I am very curious how they are going to transition from Kate and Toby to Kate and Phillip! Ugh give Mandy all of the awards, she is going to fucking destroy me this season wow I'm not ready
