Knives Out bet?
Added 2025-08-21 14:45:52 +0000 UTCKnives Out is a murder mystery right? I want to watch it but if I don't get the killer right before it's revealed (by an actual reveal or by a completely obvious hint) then I have to do a forfeit? Any ideas?
This is of course moot if the film is bad, really easy to guess, or not even a murder mystery...
Alright then, I'll do this with clue instead. I'll still watch knives out though.

Lol I adored both Knives Out and The Glass Onion. It's largely a comedy with elements of Clue. (Which you should definitely watch, btw)

2025-08-21 15:22:28 +0000 UTCPersonally, I'm not a fan of Knives Out. I think it's pretty well acted, but I was disappointed by the overall story and reveals in this movie. I think the overall story was boring. And I am normally pretty terrible at predicting big reveals and movie or show mysteries, which I appreciate about myself. I love being unable to predict or see what's to come before the reveals. However, I suspected who the killer in this movie might be straight away, and I was right. And so, this brought the movie way down for me. Personally, I feel that Knives Out is a way overhyped movie, and I do not understand why it won or was nominated for all of the awards it had been. But this is just my opinion. The choice is yours, of course, my friend. Sincerely, Heidi
