Adventurer's Quest (Surprise Surprise)

((Y/N)'s POV)

I woke up to still being between Zahara and Hamah who were still asleep. I would get up but it just felt so warm and cozy between them but I just won't go back to sleep. This time can be used to think of a surprise gift for everyone for helping me and being a good team. Something could be at the market but I don't know what everyone would want. I want something everyone can enjoy suddenly there was a smell in the air and it smelled pretty good. The smell woke up Zahara and Hamah and Zahara looked really excited.

Zahara-What's that smell! Someone is making something yummy!

Zahara took me out of bed with her but then she shivered and so did I in her arms because of how cold it felt. 

Zahara-Cold floor, cold floor! deep inhale

She was about to breathe fire but I quickly covered her mouth to stop her. Maybe enchanted rugs will make the floor not so cold when you get out of bed. Hamah just picked both of us up and carried us to the door. When we got to the hallway, it was warm in the house, we heard a fire going, and the smell only got stronger. Hamah put Zahara down but Zahara still held me while running to the kitchen but we got stopped right outside the kitchen to see what was inside by Dantalia.

Dantalia-Sorry, can't let you see the surprise for our baby... I mean leader. ~

(Y/N)'s mind-Surprise for me?... I was supposed to be the one giving them a surprise! I don't even know what to give all of them on these days off!

Dantalia only looked at me and chuckled which made me know she read my thoughts. Zahara tried to beg to be let in and so did Hamah but all that happened was Chelsie coming out of the kitchen to take me from Zahara.

Chelsie-I'm going to take him in for a bath. Just make sure (Y/N) doesn't see it until it's time... Come along, Young Master. It's time for a bath. There's already one made. ~

She took me and Dantalia still teased Zahara and Hamah about not being able to go into the kitchen. I think I heard voices of some of the others in the kitchen too but some of the girls I still heard in their rooms. When we got into the bathroom and were getting ready to get into the bath from the changing room I noticed something that made me worry.

(Y/N)-Chelsie, your but and legs are completely red!

Chelsie-Yeah... I bent over and the oven got me when I fell back.

(Y/N)-Getting burned is not good! We need some slightly cold water and just lay down!

(Chelsie's POV)

He remembered how I took care of him when he got slight burns or sunburns. He made me lay down on the bench in the changing room before covering me with a towel then got some cold water to pour on the area where Dantalia kept on whipping me by surprise. We tried stopping her but it was either an illusion or brute force that foiled every attempt to stop her... Now, it was working out for me because he gave me a hug to comfort me and I hugged him back with one arm.

Chelsie's mind-I miss the baths I gave him alone.

(Y/N)-Stay here, I will cool down the water and it will help you.

He left me alone for a little while but I just got up and went to see him adding cold water to the steaming hot water. He looked worried about me but it just made him even more adorable and by the time we finally got in the water, I had to rush his bath a little since the food should be ready soon.

((B/N)'s POV)

When I told Father I wanted to bathe with a lot of women like him this morning this is not what I had in mind! He went to a house of some kind while I was stuck in here with the maids ordered to make sure I was clean for the day.

Maid#1-May you left your arms for me, Prince?

(B/N)-Ask that again when you have a crown or proper status. grumbles

Maid#1-What did you say?

I just groaned and lifted up my arms. This bath should be much better and with even royalty of other families submitting to me. I ended the bath as soon as possible since I was not in a good mood. They could've at least begged to take care of me. When I was swinging my sword with my skill activated for practice Father came out.

Father-Did you enjoy your bath like you wanted it?

(B/N)-... Yes, sir.

Father-Drop that attitude with me... We are going to that house your brother is at and we are taking your mother back with us. Get ready to leave in 20 minutes.

He left and a smile curved on my face and I could finally beat (Y/N) into the ground, take his party, and leave him with nothing out here... Or torture him in a dungeon.

((Y/N)'s POV)

This is just horrible... How am I supposed to top a surprise like that? They had trays of food on magic bubbles in the bath and after Lillian healed everyone in the water, Zahara heated up the water again to make it very relaxing. Even Dantalia used her powers to give us a show with breakfast in the bath. It was like our own private play and... it was honestly so beautiful. We stayed in the bath until the show was over and Dantalia looked too happy in the changing room when we were getting dressed.

(Y/N)-Um... Dantalia. I loved what you did to help with this surprise but it doesn't mean you can do it to mess with us or other people... That being said, I would love more plays like that when you feel comfortable doing it.

Dantalia-Awwwwww... Well, I will need some favors if I am going to do that? Extra cuddle time or playtime with you and the others. ~

(Y/N)-Only if we agree and nothing that scares or hurts us.

Dantalia-I wouldn't dream of hurting any one of you. ~

Just then Amara came from behind me and picked me up while looking a little mad at Dantalia.

Soon she just shook her head while it looked like they had a conversation in her mind then walked away. Since today is a day off it gives me time to think of the surprise for them but what's better than an amazing show in a nice hot bath with delicious food? That's something nobody else gets like I just did!

(Y/N)'s mind-Ok, let's just see what they all have in common besides being on the same team... Yeah, this is going to take a while.

What if this keeps up and they start to see me as the weakest person in the group and then think about leaving? If that happens Mother left home with Vita and Celia for nothing, Zahara destroyed her home, Amara left her village, Grace ran away from home, Chelsie lost her job, and Luna and Hamah wasted their time...

Amara-(Y/N)!

I snapped out of my thoughts and noticed that Amara was sitting with me on the couch. I had no idea and saw Hamah and Celia were in here with us.

Celia-We lost you for a moment there.

(Y/N)-Oh sorry... Hey, I was going to do a surprise but... if you could have one thing from me... what would it be? It can be anything.

Amara-Hmph I don't need prizes just for doing my job in this group. The payment from jobs, home, and honor is payment enough.

Hamah-Hamah wants to hold you!

Just then Hamah tried to grab me but Amara jumped off the couch and landed behind it.

Amara-Hey!

Celia-What would I want?... Maybe some fish and... other things from Luna.

I wondered what she wanted from Luna but then Hamah and Amara were starting to fight over me. Amara just claimed she didn't like the idea of me being with someone so strong and reckless right now after we just had a bath. This made Hamah a little mad and that's when other girls came in then Lillian got between us to break up the fight by using her magic to calm us down.

Lillian-Now, let's not fight... Here, let me see him.

Lillian gently took me from Amara and thanks to her magic no fight happened this time. She asked me what happened and I told her everything that happened and that I just wanted to reward everyone. This made her blush a little while smiling at me.

Lillian-Awwwwww. Such a sweetheart. If you ask me... I think everyone would just love to spend some time with you. ~

I felt a little embarrassed by that even with the calming spell in effect. After a while, she stopped the spell and everyone went back to what they were doing in the house but Lillian just took me outside with Amara to sit on the porch.

(Y/N)-So what do you two plan to do with the days off?

Lillian-I was thinking of going to a library to get some books. Storytime would be nice to have.

Amara-Well, I just plan to relax with the time I have.

(Y/N)-You think if Dantalia knew some story books she could use her illusions to do a play of it again?

Amara-You willing to pay her fees in exchange for it?

I thought about what she might want to do like messing with my mind to make me like a scared baby again or the ideas times she said she could make me do something...

(Y/N)-On second thought... Maybe just listening to a story or reading a book is also good.

(Lillian's POV)

I'm sure Dantalia wouldn't do anything that bad to him. Just some light teasing and cuddling but she might get carried away with the rest of us. I'm sure he thought of that too and just wants to protect us which is just so adorable. Amara was too prideful to admit it but all she wants is to hold him and be close to him which is what started that fight after Hamah was so forward about it. Everything was going fine until Dantalia and Luna came outside looking very serious.

Luna-Get (Y/N) inside.

Lillian-Huh? Is there something wrong?

Dantalia-Just get him inside. He doesn't need to see what's out here.

(Y/N)-What?... Is this another sur-?

Just then Luna transformed and bit onto (Y/N)'s shirt to pick him up and take him into the house.

Next, the other girls came out like we were about to put up a defense. All of them except Zahara who must still be inside with (Y/N).

Lillian-What is going on?

Amara-I too am curious. If it's just a monster then my student can handle a conflict with us.

Before others could answer we saw knights rush onto our front yard from the woods to surround the house. After that, the could and the price I was formally with came into sight and with someone holding a few papers.

Man-Queen Aurora, you are hereby placed under strict house arrest by order of the king and prince! Celia, you are a runaway slave that will be returned to your master! Vita, you are hereby under arrest for treason and abandoning your station by the king! Everyone else is to be arrested and brought in for questioning!

I understood what was going on now and I don't think Grace should even be out here. Just then, Aurora walked in front of all of us with Vita and Celia.

Aurora-Calvin... Go away and leave us be!
