Happy Days (The Meeting)

(Clara's POV)

Mother was giving me and Odette clear instructions on how to take care of our little brother while she was out for an important meeting. Meanwhile, (Y/N) was just getting excited by playing with a toy on the floor and rolling around with it as if he were cat with a ball of yarn. I could just see him playing with a ball of yarn and him getting tangled in it which looked so adorable that I smiled. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Mother picked him up and he just clung to her for cuddles while holding him.

Mother-Nobody should be coming in but just make sure the door is closed if any 'visitors' try to help themselves in. As for you... 

Mother turned (Y/N) to her and smiled at him before giving him to Odette.

Mother-Be a good baby and listen to your sisters. I'll try to be back at dinner but I will be back tomorrow morning for you. ~

He gave her a kiss on the cheek and we gave her hugs goodbye before she left. When the door closed we sat on the floor to watch (Y/N) play some more. After a while, he started to get tired and just used my lap as a pillow while we put on a show for him. Suddenly, I got a message from some staff upstairs and they needed someone to come and sign off some things.

Clara-Odette, can you take care of that? I got (Y/N)'s head on my lap.

Odette-Fine.

(Y/N) looked a little bothered by Odette leaving the room leaving just the two of us but some head pats made him melt into me.

(Timeskip)

(Carmela's POV)

All the sins and overlords will be at this meeting but we were still waiting on a few. Rosie, Missi Satan, Ozmodious, Beelzebub, Manmon, and the Vs. Lucifer was holding this meeting and frankly us overlords were surprised that he still wanted us to attend this meeting. Just then the doors opened and I saw two overlords come in looking angry with each other in a settled way then shot a look at me.

We said nothing to each other and I kept my composure but I had nothing to worry about. Even if they did follow me home they have no way to enter my baby's room. Lucifer looked like he had enough waiting.

Lucifer-Before we begin. Missi, anything on the job I sent you on?

Missi-Nothing yet. Guess some demons and sinners out there just don't know to not touch what is theirs.

Rosie and I glared at her. Just as the meeting was about to start the doors opened and Beezlebub came in eating a slice of pie.

Beezlebub-Hey, did we start, yet?

Lucifer-We were just about to. Take a seat.

When she walked by me she sniffed the air a little before looking at me but I just ignored her gaze coldly before she sat down in the empty seat next to mine.

Lucifer-Now, let's start with this sudden attack. Not only did it breach the time allowed in the deal but also targeted more than just sinners on the Pride ring. So far that's the only rule they followed was to keep it on the Pride Ring.

Missi-Well it's clear that they don't want to play by the rules they made. Why should would indulge it?

The meeting conflicts were getting started and I already didn't want to be here. I would do anything to be back home.

(Beelzebub's POV)

I was holding in all my anger for the boss but there was no sign of Vortex, not even from his boss before the extermination and I don't doubt there were a few secret kills before. I was going to make it clear that I wanted to be compensated for losing a loved one or I would make it my own mission to start an uprising. Fuck Heaven. I even made this much clear but then this radio fuck had to butt in.

Alastor-I say, them twisting the rules as they please now does call for action but how do you propose we strike back?

Zestial-Indeed. If thou are opening portals to exterminate at will then it will be impossible to predict how much time we have to prepare defenses let alone an attack.

Beezlebub-I don't know about you, but if some fucks mess with sins things don't end well. Ever.

Satan-I agree. This war has been a long time coming. Whatever started it no longer matters. What if they move down to other rings?

Just then I picked up on Carmilla giving off and scent of nervousness as well as the other smell I got earlier. There was something else on her and I got the same faint smell on Rosie, Missi, and Lucifer for some reason. Some of the others in here mainly the overlords wanted Lucifer to make a new deal or at least get into contact with Heaven but none were even answering his calls. 

Beezlebub-Why do they do this now?! What pissed them off this much or made them want to do this?!

Carmilla-That doesn't matter. Our next move does.

She just dodged the question and I think she knows something... No. She does know something and I am damn well going to find out because this most likely got my boyfriend killed!

(Timeskip 12 Hours)

An entire day wasted and not even food helped me calm down because I know Rosie, Carmilla, and Missi know something assuming more don't know something. To make things worse we couldn't even come to an agreement. Those of us with any self-respect wanted to fight while others wanted to stay defensive. Satan was the most pissed when he left and I was too but I was going to do something... I decided to tail the most powerful overlord in the meeting... Carmilla. I was flying behind buildings to stay hidden then her car made it back to her home where I saw her come out with a smile on her face.

Beelzebub's mind-What are you so fucking happy about?

I got in closer and knew I had to knock out the power to get inside but then she most likely has backup generators for a place like this... I'll try to sneak in but if I get caught, I'll just burn this fucker to the ground.

(Carmilla's POV)

I sat down on the bed in my baby's room where I saw him being cuddled by my daughters but it looked like me coming in woke him up. Instead of looking bothered, he came out from between my daughters and since it was mostly the heater in this room keeping him warm, he only lost a bit of their body heat. He put his head on my lap and just felt so warm. His eyes closed while he nuzzled into me but I just picked him up to cradle him.

(Y/N)-Mother. whisper

I stayed silent and stroked his head while examining him. He had a nice clean deminer so my daughters gave him his bath, his belly didn't growl so I believe he was well fed, and not a single scratch on him. I felt tired but there was no room for me on the bed without waking up my daughters. I dare not take him out of this room either because if he wakes up before I do he would wander off... I just had to give him back to my daughters and get him back in the morning. I carefully put him back between my daughters which made him groan until he grabbed one of their arms to put one of their fingers in his mouth to suck on. I was worried Clara would wake up and flinch a little but her eyes just barely opened before sleeping again... Guess he wore them out at playtime.

I left the room to go to my room and go to bed but then something was off... The lights... This was the backup power. I didn't notice it because there was nothing really on in (Y/N)'s room so it going out for a few seconds didn't make me notice.

Carmilla's mind-I don't know who you are but I know you are in here... If you are going to try and kill me, you are more than welcome to try.

The silence filled the room while I stood in place. I saw a soft glow, kept my guard up, and checked everything around the room while I walked up to it. It was some kind of liquid. When I heard a swift flap in that instant I was struck and sent flying to a wall. This finally made the lockdown happen since it had to be sabotaged. Before I could blackout, I saw my attacker and knew how they were strong enough to break in.

She didn't say anything and just walked off where I came from but (Y/N)'s room should be the safest in the house... Will it be enough to keep her out?

Carmilla's mind-No... I will... get you if you dare touch him.

(Beelzebub's POV)

She was armed to the fucking teeth around here. No wonder no sinner or imp fucked with her before now. It didn't matter because I was going to see what she was hiding and that scent on her was coming from down here. I got close to the door that looked fortified as fuck before something scanned me. A trap door opened and I quickly reacted with my wings while looking down to see lava and angelic weapons down in a pit.

Beelzebub-Fuck lady. You surely don't want anybody getting in this room... Well, I'm going in.

I tried just simply ripping the door off or knocking it down but it would not even leave so much as a scratch or dent.

Beelzebub's mind-Tough guy, huh?

I tried another tactic... I stuffed the console with beelze-juice and it shorted out when I forced it in there for a little bit. The trap door closed and the door opened to see...

Beelzebub's mind-Is this... a kid's room?

I looked inside and saw a... human child that I was smelling between two demons until he opened his eyes and looked at me. Next, he rubbed his eyes then looked at me again but this time in awe.

???-... Pretty colors. whispers

He was checking out my body before crawling down the bed to get to me and I was just so confused. What was a child doing in hell? Is this why Heaven is pissed at all of us so much? Because someone broke this rule to bring a human to hell while they are still alive? Worse shit has happened and this is what pisses them off the most?! I snapped out of my thoughts when this little human boy put his hand on my belly after coming down from the bed in curiosity... It did look cute but this was not happening right now. Maybe they can give me answers.

Beelzebub-Hey there... little man. Mind if we talk somewhere more... fun? ~ whisper

???-I want to cuddle your pretty and colorful tail. whisper

He reached for my tail to grab it but I picked him up and walked out of the room. I had to keep up this soft smile even though I wanted to shake him down for answers. He clung to me when I held him and was about to talk but I was done talking. I just summoned a big ring pop in his mouth and his eyes lit up while nuzzling into me looking happy. Even when we got outside and I flew off with him the only thing that made him cry was from it being too cold for him considering that the room he was in was warmer in there than it was out here. He turned into me for warmth and just sucked on his candy in peace while looking at my body. When I left the Pride ring, I thought about the rules that sinners can't leave the Pride ring but I don't care about the rules right now nor do I know if it applies to the living.

Beelzebub's mind-Well, he's easily distracted by my body. Usually, it's from those who think I'm really hot. Looks like interrogating him at my place will be easier than I thought.
