Adventurer's Quest (Being Dependable)

((Y/N)'s POV)

I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed... by everyone. Everyone ate in my room which I didn't mind because my bed was just so warm and cozy. Everyone even took turns feeding me delicious fruit tarts before I could even fully wake up. It felt nice but then I fully woke up and realized everything was too good... I looked at Dantalia with suspicion but she assured me that he was not controlling anyone so I looked into their eyes... None of them were under her control.

Dantalia-See?... I think you owe me an apology for thinking I would do such a thing to break the rules.

(Y/N)-Ok. I'm sorry that I accused you of-.

Dantalia-Oh no. I am going to need more than just words. I think I should get you the whole time we are in the group bath.

ChelsieWhat?!

Mother-He is my son, so I get to pamper him!

Hamah-Hamah wants Ba-Baby too!

Everyone argued and this was much more believable. We all cleaned up my room from their dishes before we went to get ready for the bath. Vita was the one to pick me up first since she finished first besides me but Dantalia took me from her while wrapping her tenticals around her body.

Dantalia-Not happening. He owes me an apology, remember? ~

(Dantalia's POV)

Little does everyone know that I did tamper with their minds a little in their sleep but now I get my toy all to myself for the whole bath. When the others got in, I did have to fight them off a little but even (Y/N) helped me by talking to them... All of them looked jealous and I just smiled at them while using many of my limbs to clean and play with him.

Grace-(Y/N)! I want to play in the water a little before we go out on our jobs!

Dantalia-You'll have all day to have a playdate the sooner you get a job done, Princess. Our little leader is all mine right now. Sorry.

This reminds me of the other little present I left for (Y/N) and his mother while they were here all alone. I would stay to watch but I feel like having a little battle toy with other monsters and maybe a few humans for old times sake. We all soaked in the bath for about almost an hour before we got out and I dried him off but I gave him to his mother to get him dressed. Before she could walk away I leaned into her...

Dantalia-I left something in your room to try out. whisper

((Y/N's POV)

I heard what she said and she had that smile that she gets when she plans something! Mom just let me go get dressed in my room and I wanted for everyone to leave and go do their jobs while I help my mother find something she can do but I was nervous of what Dantalia did... I can't avoid it forever and I am sure Mother can be reasoned with so I left my room to get this day started... Maybe I'll go do a job with Grace tomorrow to be with someone my age.

(Y/N)-Mother!... Mother, I know some of your duties as queen so maybe we can-.

I opened the door to her room and saw her and she was drinking something. That has to be from Dantalia!

(Y/N)-MOTHER!!! DON'T DRINK THAT!!!

It was too late and she had an empty bottle so all I could do was wait and guess. I don't think Dantalia would poison her.

Mother-Sweetie, it's alright.

(Y/N)-What did you drink?

Mother-I don't know but the note said it would us... u-us... whimper BO-O-O-O-ONNND!!! AAAAHHHHH!!! SOBBING

Mother fell to her knees crying then pulled me into a hug so I tried to comfort her. I bet Dantalia is smiling somewhere right now! I think this was just to make her cry but then...

Mother-I'm so-sorry! Mother is so sorry! I-I didn't listen or see the truth in what was going on, you were mistreated everyday, YOU FELT THE NEED TO KEEP SECRETS, I ONLY SMILED AND WAVED FOR THE KINGDOM, (B/N) AND YOUR FATHER ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS STUPID-!!! deep inhale coughing

(Y/N)-Mother, I think you need some time to rest.

Mother-DON'T LEAVE ME!!! Sobbing

She took me into her bed to cuddle me while crying and I hated to see Mother cry like this. I think I know which potion she took and it's really hard to get and make. It makes it show your true feelings and makes them run wild... This made me feel worse. 

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

Mother kept on calling herself stupid about everything with Father and my brother which made me angry that they didn't even care about her at least. Especially (B/N) because if he tried so hard for her attention like me, he could at least truly love her. I told her this and it made her crying only go to whimpers which was good because she got sick once from crying so much.

(Y/N)-Would it make you feel better if we start looking for a new job for you? You said you were lucky when you want to be so why not use that.

Mother-Y-Your Father only used it when-.

(Y/N)-Father isn't using it anymore... How about we got out on an easy slime hunting mission. Just us.

Mother-But what if the slimes melt my clothes?

(Y/N)-Ok. What do you want to do? Nothing to do with what Father wanted.

Mother-Sniffle... I made tea for tea parties sometimes... But you don't like tea... Gardening?

(Y/N)-Ok.

She didn't want to put me down so I just hugged her to keep her from crying until we got outside. When she put me down on the porch she went inside and had a handful full of seeds.

Mother-Wh-What if you hate me for bringing dirt in? Your Father said a true lady doesn't belong in the dirt.

(Y/N)-Mother, I love you... Plant the seeds and we can go inside to do a puzzle or whatever you like to do for fun.

She looked a little confused and scared. I couldn't wait for this position to wear off and Dantalia was in big trouble... Not like I can do much to her. Mother just threw the seeds all over parts of the field then went inside to come out with small hopped potatoes, carrot stems, and all sorts of left over fruits and vegetables in a bowl. I wanted to tell her that's not how gardening works but I was scared she would cry all over again. When she was down she went to a part of the field and whispered something before touching the ground... Her hands were making the ground shakin until...

Boom

Cracking

Rumble

A dust cloud came up and I heard all sorts of sounds with my mother in it so I ran to her but when the clouds went away... THERE WAS A STRAWBERRY BIGGER THAN MY HAND AND MY POTATOES AS BIG AS ME!!! WHEN COULD SHE DO THIS?!?!?!

Mother-Sniffle sobbing!

(Aurora's POV)

I couldn't help but feel so said after breaking a rule of my ex-husbands now I am covered in dirt, I did something I am rarely allowed to do in the open and without charging, and what if what he said about me looking horrible as a farmer was true?! I cried again but then I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

(Y/N)-Mother this is amazing!... Why are you crying?

I didn't know what to think anymore so I just pulled him into a hug before walking inside for another bath with just the two of us this time. 

Aurora-Honey... You don't think I'm stupid or not allowed to be a farmer without permission, right? whimper

I still have no idea why I am telling him any of this or why it was all bothering me so much. I just wanted my own baby to cuddle me and really earn his forgiveness. This was making me feel like an emotional wreck but he cuddled me even more to make me feel better.

Aurora-I-I just wanted to be a good mother, wife, and queen... I failed at everything.

(Y/N)-No... I thought you were a good mother.

Aurora-Honey... I was clueless to the abuse given to you and you didn't feel like you could tell me.

(Y/N)-Well... um... You never did hit me or tried to be mean. That's gotta count.

It doesn't... I want to be dependable for him and now he is a leader to an entire team and managed to by a house this big so fast with all of them. It suddenly hit me how I could be dependable again... I put his face to my chest and tried to breastfeed him like I hadn't done in years. He tried to fight it a little but then it felt like my heart was being shattered.

Aurora-(Y/N) please... I just want to feel important to my baby again. whimper

((B/N)'s POV)

I was going out again and this time Father was going to come with me with a lot of guards so we are really going to succeed this time in everything. I couldn't wait to see the look on (Y/N)'s face when I get my revenge. I think Lillian would look great in a slave collar too for leaving me.

(B/N)-I want to get more monsters to kill and dungeons to conquer.

Father-We will have plenty but don't lose sight of the mission. You are also going to keep up on your training with your new magic tools.

I smiled at that and I just knew that this would bring my brother to his knees as well as my enemies. I don't think I will kill (Y/N) because want to see the look on his face when I take everything away from him. Including getting a front-row seat for my wedding with Grace.

(Grace's POV)

Lillian doesn't know this but I took a D-rank goblin horde request for tomorrow with (Y/N). My magic should make it easy and while we are out, we can have that date. Goblins will be really easy and quick, plus if we are in a net and I cover everything around us in ice... nobody can interrupt us.

Lillian-You seem very happy.  It is a neat feat you had accomplished with another rat extermination.

When we made it back him we saw we were the first ones homes and Lillian said she would go get a bath ready while I show (Y/N) how good we did! When I looked into the backyard though... THERE WERE HUGE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES?!?!?!

Grace's mind-Was this his mother's doing?!... I didn't hear about a skill like this though!

I went to his room to see if he was there but he wasn't. I went into his mom's room and that's when I saw both of them sleeping... AND SHE HAD HIS FACE IN HER CHEST!!!

Grace's mind-That should be us!... I don't need a chest like yours to make him happy yet! Tomorrow, I swear he will propose and I will do it without any of your help!
