Little Daisy (Night Walk)

((Y/N)'s POV)

When I got back to what I guess is my home now, Mitzi was so happy to just take me back to her room and sleep last night. I felt her grip around me being very tight to hold me close and she never even let me touch the ground this entire morning. I was either in her arms or on her lap even during the math and getting dressed in what she calls my nice clothes and jacket because she said she was going to take me downstairs to where she first met me. When she said that, I froze and shivered uncontrollably. I thought people do that on purpose but it's true. I really can't stop shaking.

(Y/N)-U-Um... Can I just stay up here?

Mitzi-Nobody new is going to be down there in the day Sweetheart. Just keep your head down outside and and then we'll be right down in the speakeasy in no time. I think you need more space to play.

(Y/N)-... Is the big scary cat man going to be there?

Mitzi-Viktor. He won't hurt a fly unless I say so. You'll be perfectly safe, Hun.

I wanted to talk about this some more but she still didn't put me down and that meant I couldn't fight while she carried me. She covered my face with my hood when we got outside in the day light and I heard others then felt them looking at me while Mitzi held me. We got into a place that smelled really good. I think I heard a familiar voice too... I do know them.

Rocky-Ms. M! You brought-?! Ow!

Ivy-Good morning Ms. M.

Mitzi-Good Morning, you 3... We'll be in the back.

She took me to the back and something opened before we went down some stairs and the door closed.

Mitzi-Almost there. Just gonna need to move you around a little. I usually have a doorman... Horatio might fant if he sees you though but he's too sweet to hurt a fly. Bliss his heart.

Another door opened and when she took my hood off, I saw this big fancy place and the ceiling reminded me of a cave. There was nobody else in this big place and she finally put me down on a very comfy seat and then squeezed in with me.

Mitzi-What do you think of where Mo- most of my people work?

It sounded like she had a hiccup just now but I just let that go and looked around this place some more.

(Y/N)-It looks... fancy. My mom and dad said fancy places like this are usually for adults only.

Mitzi-Well they weren't wrong but it's not open now and I think you need a bigger place to play during the day. Maybe we can even go out for a drive at night. I noticed you were a little restless last night and that just won't do. ~

She poked my nose and curled her tail up around me to help cuddle me before she let me run around but there wasn't much to do here. She did bring out some dice and taught me how to play a few games, and then she thought we should gamble.

(Y/N)-But I don't have any money.

Mitzi-Not with money, Sweetheart... Let's gamble with time. You win a game, you get 5 minutes to do whatever you like, or take 5 minutes you lost off the time of the one in the lead. In those 5 minutes... do whatever you like. Even my wallet is open to you.

I don't want to spend her money and I don't even know what is around because my first thought was more video games but I think those don't exist anymore... Maybe I could get out of cuddles for a while to play on my tablet in peace. When I nodded my head she explained the game and it sounded very simple. We would roll the dice and if an odd number of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, or 11 came up she wins and if an even number came up of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 came up, I win the round.

Mitzi-Hold on, Sweetie. Let me go get my lucky dice.

She went to go get some new dice and I think the game sounded pretty fair. Even is she does get in the lead I think it would be by 20 minutes at best.

(Timeskip 4 hours)

I OWE HER 19 HOURS AND 55 MINUTES?!?!?! I RARELY EVER WIN!!! She says she is just very lucky so I took over rolling the dice in a cup and a few other cat people were here to watch. Ivy and her friends too so they tried to roll for us to keep it fair but she still wins!

Ivy-That's another 5 minutes for you Ms. M. Brings the time you have to 20 hours.

(Y/N)-How are you winning this much?!

Mitzi-I said these were my lucky dice... We can stop or keep going to see if your luck changes. Day is still young.

I needed to get rid of those twenty hours but it seemed hopeless... Now, she said I can choose how much time I want to gamble. Like if I gamble 20 she can either lose all her time but mine could double and go up to 40.

(Y/N)'s mind-Wait, no matter how much she wins, I just need to win once with all the time I owe then I can stop. I rarely win but that won't matter anymore! Let's do it.

(Timeskip to Night)

(Mitzi's POV)

We were in the car and my baby now owes me 6 months and 18 days worth of time that I can do what I like when I like as well as start the time whenever I want as well as stop it. I added that last part to let him know he can have breaks. Wick was driving a limo for us while I was giving my baby boy some extra love in the backseat. He just looked so cute curled up and I was just fiddling around with his hair, cheeks, arms, and legs while all he was doing was blushing.

Wick-M-Mitzi, are you sure it's a good idea to be driving around town with you... son like this?

Mitzi-The curtains are down, Wick. Windows are tinted, at the best they can get is barely a lance. Don't worry so much. 

Wick-I-It is a little high risk though, wouldn't you say?

Mitzi-So is this little guy getting a serious case of cabin fever but nothing like a relaxing drive wouldn't fix. Isn't that right, (Y/N)? ~

(Serafine's POV)

Boss is clear on not killing Mitzi because that would stir up a gang war the fuzz will be all over and then cause all sorts of problems. Looks like there is no killing tonight but we are getting that exotic creature and it took time for Nico and I to come up with a plan that could possibly work. We staked out the Little Daisy and to our luck, the lady herself left with some pudding-hearted suit and tie so we tailed them.

Nico-The rule is no killing the lady but anything on the suit?

Serafine-Just make sure not to shoot the precious cargo or the lady while you do it, Baebae.

After a while of tailing them, they went into the woods on a nature trail. Nico and I looked at each other with smiles on our faces. He floored the gas pedal to get ahead of them by going another route.

(Wick's POV)

I thought making a detour to my estate to get a smaller car would be a good idea to go back in and the creature, (Y/N) could duck onto the floor or Mitzi would hold him close to hide him. When we got there, I parked in the garage and Mitzi took him out for a walk... but she was still refusing to put him down so she could be more affectionate.

Wick's mind-Isn't the point of a walk for both parties to walk?... Why does she want to keep that thing anyway because it sounds very dangerous? There are plenty of orphans to adopt.

While I was getting a new car ready to go and then waiting for Mitzi to come back I heard something small fall over. I looked and saw nothing I could point out but stepped outside.

Wick-Hello?... Mitzi?... I-Is that you young one?

This felt like a scene straight out of a horror novel. I should just run inside but what about Mitzi?... I'm sure it's nothing but better to be in a group so I went off into the woods to go get her. It wasn't long until I found her in the moonlight looking quite fetching... the creature still gave me the hibbie jibbies.

Mitzi-Wick? Came out to enjoy the view?

Wick-Quite... I thought you would need some more company.

Mitzi-How sweet. I think it's almost time to head home. My little man is ready to bunk for the night. ~

It still made me a little uncomfortable but it wasn't my place to stay. She bounced them in her arms as we walked on the trail but then someone walked out from the woods.

???-Hey... Nice night out.

Mitzi hid (Y/N) in his hood quickly and turned him away.

Mitzi-Very. We'll be on our way.

Just then he pulled out a gun and that's when  Mitzi made a little squeaking sound like something got her by surprise. There was a dart in her leg and she fell back and (Y/N) was on top of her looking scared.

???-Nice animal. Got any ideas on what they are?

Wick-U-Um, I'm sure we can talk it out like gentlemen.

Someone came out of the trees and bushes and walked toward (Y/N). He tried to run but they snatched him up.

???-Here's a talk. We'll be taking this and if you got a problem we'll pump ya full of lead... Please tell me you got a problem that we drugged your boss and took an animal or whatever it is she liked.

(Y/N)-Whimper P-Put me down. whisper

She only chuckled at that and the man had his gun pointed at me while smirking.

Wick-N-No problems at all.

???-Tch Thought we could have some fun.

???-Brother of mine, we got something good. Let him go this time before he wets himself. Before we go... empty your pockets.

I did what they wanted and they took my wallet, keys, and everything else I had on me. They both laughed before walking away and I could not move until they were gone. Mitzi was on the ground but she was still breathing. Why not just kill us?... Not that I'm complaining. One thing that I am worried about is that Mitzi really loved that creature and now they have him while I just let it happen... If I lay down with her they might think I was darted too.

Wick's mind-She doesn't have to know. It wasn't my fault... It's only been a few days so maybe she will move on in a week... Right?

((Y/N)'s POV)

I didn't like this and tried to wiggle free from this lady and her friend because they seemed like really bad people! She would only laugh when I failed to escape then got into a car with me on her lap before she made me look at her.

???-Now... What are you? ~

I couldn't bring myself to talk and I started crying.

(Serafine's POV)

Whatever they are, they sure do cry a lot but I like anything that cries and begs to me. Weird that this one won't end up on a plate for being too rare but they do have a cage waiting for them now. If it can hold a bear or a full-grown adult... or both then it can hold something like this.

???-Pl-Please, let me go.

Serafine-Chuckles Why would I do that Little Bird? I think our friends are gonna love getting a look at you. I even feel like dolling myself up for this. ~

He only kept on crying and shaking like a leaf and Nico and I only chuckled at this.

Serafine's mind-Ohhhhh, this is going to be interesting... What are you even called... Guess we'll find out soon enough. ~
