Adventurer's Quest (Dinner Party)

((B/N)'s POV)

We were all at the table still and I tried to think of ways to win over my new harem and the first thing all ladies love is a man who is strong and in power. I'm the better prince and true air to the throne. While I ate, I got to work on the closest girl, Luna. She is not sexy, but her place will be wonderful in a collar like Celia and if she doesn't like it like her, I can make her like it. Money and power can get you anything. I leaned over to her on my chair and twirled a knife in my hand and this got her attention. I gave her the coolest smile I could and she only looked at me.

(B/N)-Hey. I know my brother is a prince, but I am air to the throne. ~

Luna-Is that right?

(B/N)-And with that kind of power, I can get you anything you want.

Luna-... Are you trying to bribe me? ~

She leaned in and she looked like she was going for it. I had her, but then she lost all of her charm and had a bored look.

Luna-Because I got enough power and riches then I could ever want... And that 'seductive' thing you do with that smile doesn't work like that. Now, if you excuse me. I have a drink to enjoy.

(B/N)-Hey, I just wanted to be friends with a little benefits later on... And that fluffy tail. ~

I reached for it, but that's when she grew her fingers into claws and nobody was looking at us. She looked at me angrily with her ears down.

Luna-Touch it and take your tail and your guards, lover boy. *whisper*

I didn't have a tail, but I got angry that she dared threaten me! She put her claws away and drank some more, but when I was about to call the guards to arrest her.

Chelsie-Zahara, stop!

I looked over to see Zahara drinking a lot of drinks that I think were all milkshakes. Others wanted her to stop, but she stuck her tongue out like a baby...

(B/N)'s mind-Perfect. ~

Amara-You said they gave your brain freeze!

Zahara-But they are so good! Master said I can have what I want!

(Y/N)-Um... Maybe this can be the last one before you get a tummy ache before bed.

Zahara-But Master!

(B/N)-Are you going to let him tell you what to do? Have whatever you want and I'll cover it!

Everyone looked at me and I kept a smile on my face to win her over, but all I got was...

Zahara-... Who are you again?

(B/N)-What?... I'm Prince (B/N)! The next king! I was here all dinner!

Zahara-Oh... Well, I listen to Master.

Why does she call that piece of trash, her MASTER?!?!?! I deserved to be her master and when they saw me getting mad, Lillian came to my side, but I ignored her and looked for the next girl.

She's supposed to be my wife anyway! I have a right to her, but when I saw her give (Y/N) a kiss on his cheek and she fed him a cherry from her ice cream while he blushed from embarrassment like a loser!...

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

(Lillian's POV)

I finished apologizing for the prince's tantrum to the last person besides the team because they were very protective of the other prince and Hamah was really mad when (B/N) snapped, yelled, and then charged at his brother. Even my calming spell was not enough, until (Y/N) tried giving her affection and telling her that he was fine... Other members of the party were mad too, so they needed time in their room by themselves to relax. I was feeling conflicted that (B/N) would attack his own brother and would have to write a little to the king later about this. When I headed to their room to apologize, I saw (Y/N) come out of the room.

(Y/N)-I'll be right back with some food.

Amara-Young One! I insist that I go with you!

Chelsie-I am coming with you! I don't-!

(Y/N)-Please, just keep Hamah, Zahara, and Luna from going crazy. I'll be fine and turn back if I even hear him.

Grace-I want to come too!

(Y/N)-Please!... We'll take a relaxing bath later with relaxing salts and minerals. I can handle a little trip to the kitchen on my own. Luna, I will bring you your raw steak, Zahara will get some bread and soup to help her tummy, Hamah will get calming tea, Amara, you want a slice of cake, Grace will get some more of her favorite juice, and Chelsie, I will get you potatoes and ingredients for baked potatoes to make for everyone too.

Luna-You have 5 minutes to get back here or we 'will' come get you.

He spent a few more minutes, trying to calm his team and even went back in to give them more affection before he left. He noticed me standing in the hall and I admired how compassionate he was to settle his team down. He even looked at me a little confused.

(Y/N)-Oh... Hi. Lillian, was it?

Lillian-Yes. I have come to apologize on behalf of your big brother.

(Y/N)-Please, it was not your fault. I am just sorry things went like that to set him off.

Lillian-Heavens no. I knew he had a temper and was a little misguided, but I didn't think he would attack his own brother. I still don't understand what drove him to do that.

(Y/N)-Well... If you have a minute. I can tell you on the way to the kitchen... They will come get me soon and I want the food ordered to calm them down.

(Grace's POV)

I was still slightly crying on the bed after the horrible things (B/N) said to me when he got angry at the dinner I didn't want to go to. He called me bitch, whore, unfaithful wife, and stupid for kissing piles of shit. (Y/N) told me not to listen to him, but he couldn't give me his full attention because he tried to stop the others from attacking and maybe even killing him... I SAY THEY SHOULD JUST DO IT IF I DON'T!!! He wanted to hurt (Y/N) too and I had to make an ice wall to stop his punch. Luna was pacing around with her tail fluffed up in anger while trying not to transform.

Grace's mind-I'm never going to be married to him! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!

I started to cry some more and Hamah saw this before her muscles started to get a little bigger when they flexed. Luna was even getting ready to charge out the door soon and that was always going to happen. (Y/N) can't get back in time, so Luna will be carrying him back, but then we saw him come through the door.

(Y/N)-Hey... I got someone to make the orders for us and she will join us later. I even-.

Luna just transformed and picked him up by the back of his shirt to bring him to the bed and curled up around us. She was even licking his face with her big tongue.

(Y/N)-Luna, stop! I wasn't even gone that long!

She ignored him, but he only relaxed and let it happen. Maybe it was that potion she gave him to feel more attached to. I used a water spell to help clean him after and when our food got here we had what we wanted, plus Cheslsie's cooking. I snuggled up to (Y/N) too and he wrapped me in a hug while giving me comforting words.

(Y/N)-I'm sure he didn't mean it... I mean, you met him and... and... Well, he was just in a bad mood... A mood.

Grace-Just stroke my head.

(Y/N)-Ok.

((B/N)'s POV)

*SMASH*

Do they not know the better choice when they see it?! I could give them everything and they act like (Y/N) is the better choice! Now, they put me in a room while they cleaned up the mess that was my brother's fault, but I was not done, yet! I am going to go out there and make them listen to me or they will hear from my father that they are not obeying me! I got more anger out and will have maids clean my room while I am out. It's their job to do it anyway, so they can stay busy and get the money my family gave them a chance to get. When I got to the lobby, I looked for Lillian to explain how this was really going to work and the rest of the party would be next!

(B/N)'s mind-When I get my hands on (Y/N)-!

(Aurora's POV)

Aurora-I would hold him and never let him go!

I was having tea with Vita and Celia on the balcony, under the night sky while my husband was busy. The news about my youngest son made me proud but also worried sick. He is just a baby and he is out there with a new team that we know nothing about. The only one we know about is Chelsie and she's just a head maid, so I don't think she can fight that well, but she can cook. When I snapped out of my thoughts, I looked at Vita and Celia.

Vita-They will bring him home, peacefully. I am sure, my lady.

Celia-Master is also worried about both of his sons. I will be put in a room next to him to keep an eye and ear on him. This won't happen again.

Aurora-It just hurts that he saw a reason to run away. Why would he do this?

Vita-He is but a child, my lady. He must've been curious about the outside world and wished to explore and make a name for himself... Noble, but ridiculous for his method.

Celia-Oh! Why don't we ask around the manner of what they saw (Y/N) act like and we can make something for him here? He got C-rank, so we could bump things up for him a little.

Vita-... Well... His teacher said he is ahead of his studying, but not his training... It seems the sword is just not for him at all... It would be wise to at least show him how to wield a dagger though.

We spoke more about this matter in order to make home more appealing to my son and see that this does not happen again. During the conversation, Calvin came in and he looked a little tired and annoyed, but I think I may have news that would cheer him up... Although, it would make a good surprise for when we have everything set first.

Aurora-Hi Honey. Our sons may be home soon. Why do you seem upset?

Calvin-I just cleared a few things with the press and staff about (B/N). Someone is trying to degrade our family name and that person will be dealt with.

Aurora-Oh... Well, we have a son who reached C-Rank in a matter of days at his age, and became part of a team... We could knight them and make them allies to the kingdom.

Calvin-Leave those matters to me... I'm going out for a walk.

Aurora-Oh, let me-.

Calvin-Alone.

(Calvin's POV)

The things I heard about my oldest and golden child... Those lies will not go unpunished and I would not put it past (Y/N) if he helped with those lies. A quick example made out of (Y/N) and a display of (B/N) will put the order back on track. When I got out into the garden, I thought about my son's new team and if they were the ones that really took down an SSS-rank dungeon then they would be great for (B/N) to have.

Calvin's mind-I could knight them and place them on my oldest son's team. I'm sure gold and glory will speak wonders to them.

A smile curved on my face and with my little stain of a son locked up tighter this time, the family name will be just as secure. (B/N) will marry Grace in the future and he will be ready for the throne.

Calvin's mind-In reality, I'm sure (Y/N) is completely alone and being used for the family name until they met my golden son.

((Y/N)'s POV)

We were all in a bath and the plan was to meet with Lillian after, but she got in with us and used a calming light to make this more relaxing... Well, Luna and Zahara acted the same. Luna was just staying close to help wash me and Zahara wanted to play and splash around. Chelsie was getting my body while Amara had me on her lap and got my back. Lillian was helping with Grace. Hamah was bathing herself, but leaning over to adore me after. When I was all clean, Zahara took me to play with her, but I didn't feel like playing because of the light... Cuddling felt nicer, but I let her play with my hands and arms while I did.

Zahara-Look! Master is doing a little dance!

She moved my arms around and I leaned deeper into her body and then Luna came over to rub my face... It felt nice.

Lillian-Awwww. That's so cute. ~

Chelsie-Don't get too attached. We are going to do another job or too for a rank promotion for him and Grace and then we are leaving the town.

(Y/N)-That's if I can move up a rank... I don't want to do it too fast because the teacher told me that led to many others getting hurt... Maybe, I'll say C-Rank for a while. Train with Amara to get better.

Lillian-Very wise.

Luna-Yeah, that's my smart puppy. ~

She rubbed her body against mine and Zahara swam around with us on top of her to have a little more fun... It felt really relaxing to float around. We all soaked and talked for almost an hour I think before we got out. Grace even showed some of her magic to put on a show for us and help us dry faster with her magic.

Lillian-Oh, if I may offer some advice.

Grace-Huh?

Lillian-Maintain your focus, but keep your arms loose to let the magic flow as it channels to your hands. I even recommend a wand or staff and focusing on a tip that you can see. It will be more powerful and easier.

Grace-Really?

Lillian-Even so... You are a prodigy for magic at your age, your highness.

(Lillian's POV)

This group seemed mostly friendly and comfortable with each other, but I remember at dinner when Zahara was on bad terms with Luna for making her cry. Despite that, they got along in the bath to play with the prince and show him affection. While we were drying off he wanted to help pass out towels and our clean clothes before he got his own... for his team to help dress him. He was sure that he could do it, but he soon let them do it for him.

(Y/N)-Ok, in the morning, let's do a few C-Ranks to see how Grace and I do before taking on harder jobs for you all.

I remember when his brother charged into a dungeon on his own and almost got killed. He seems to be more level-headed while caring for his team. They seem to listen to him out of adoring him, but he does not take advantage of that at all. What he told me back in that hallway...

(Flashback Start)

(Y/N)-I have a very bad relation with my father and brother.

Lillian-What? Why?

(Y/N)-My family is known for swordplay skills, but I just don't have any... I'm a better archer if anything.

Lillian-But surely they must accept and love you.

(Y/N)-Ummm... My mother, Captian of the guard Vita, and Celia love and care for me. Chelsie cares for me... (B/N) is just very mean, but even when he picks on the staff's children and staff, I still feel bad for them and even help them.

He told me a few times that these moments had happened and thanks to my skill... He was telling the truth from what I could feel. The things he claimed his brother did were horrible. I thought he was acting out to wanting to be an adventurer or missing his home and brother.

Lillian-There has to be a misunderstanding, surely.

(Y/N)-I-I'm sure there is, Sister.

I could feel that he was lying, so that meant that's how he felt or it could be...

Lillian-Please, call me Lillian.

(Y/N)-Then call me by my name... Also, I spent too much time here. Could you do me a favor, please?... I have a few orders for the chef.

(Flashback End)

We all left the bathing area and (Y/N) gave himself to Amara to give him affection when she felt left out. She tried to deny it, but I didn't need my skill to tell that she enjoyed holding him and he gave her soft affection to not overwhelm her little act.

Lillian-*Giggles*. ~

(B/N)-HEY!!!

We all looked down the hall and saw (B/N) glaring at all of us and he looked jealous for some reason. Perhaps it was because I was spending time with his brother's team. Even so...

Lillian-Prince (B/N). I thought we put you to bed. Is there a problem?

(B/N)-YEAH!!! WHY ARE YOU WITH HIM?!?!?!

Amara turned (Y/N) away from his own brother and he clung to her as well. There was no love in his eyes for his older brother. He feared him. I looked back to (B/N) as he got closer until a few of the girls stepped forward in (Y/N)'s defense. Hamah, Luna, and even Grace took the front with her magic at the ready.

(B/N)-WHY DO YOU MORONS CARE ABOUT THAT PIECE OF TRASH!?!?! I COULD GIVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED!!! YOU SHOULD BE ATTRACTED TO ME!!! YOUR!!! FUTURE!!! KING!!!

He kept on ranting and throwing a tantrum while saying rude things about his brother before he turned his attention to me.

(B/N)-AND YOU!!! WHEN MY FATHER HEARS YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME, HE WILL KICK YOU FROM MY PARTY AND TELL THE CHURCH OF HOW YOU FAILED AND WERE FIRED!!! I WILL MAKE SURE YOU LOSE EVERYTHING IF YOU DON'T GET ON YOUR KNEES FOR ME NOW!!!

There was no denying it anymore and I had no choice... I walked up to him with my composure intact and in a calm deminer. When I was but a few feet in front of him...

Lillian-I am sorry that it has come to this, but I quit your party.

The look on his face showed surprise before he went back to anger and tried to hit me, but I put of a force field.

Lillian-I will inform the team and write a letter to your parents and the church myself. I only pray that you find peace on your journey.

I walked away from him and he only punched and kicked my force field before he smashed a vase and ran away in a very bad mood... A heavily misguided child. I do not feel anger toward him, but I can't stay with him. As for my next move, I went up to Amara and (Y/N), held my hands together, and bowed a little.

Lillian-Prince (Y/N), I humbly ask that I may join your party with the aim of protecting you and this team from harm and bestowing wisdom and prayer from the gods... Will you have me?

Everyone looked at us and I looked at all of them with a smile on my face in hopes of working well with them.

I even offered my services to teach Grace more about magic since it was a field of interest while training to become the SS-Rank Preitess I am today. My skills and buffing spells were also brought up but during my introductions to my skills...

(Y/N)-*Snicker* It's just (Y/N). Of course, you can join.

The only ones that seemed to be against this were Amara, Chelsie, and Luna. Grace was the most excited to learn magic from me. I have work to do to earn the trust of the three who do not trust me to be in this group, but I know the gods will help me form a great bond... Not to mention, I have been blessed with a cute and kind team leader. Zahara came up and hugged me while easily picking me up.

Zahara-We are going to have so much fun together! Can you do other spells?! Can you speak to gods?! Can you make monsters stronger and more fun to play with?!

She asked a lot of questions and I just smiled since she reminded me of a child. You do not see an adult with such innocence every day.
