I'm sure you know by now that by the end of Breaking Bad, Walter White spurred one of the largest manhunts in US history and Saul was his lawyer and handled most of the money laundering stuff, so he was an accessory and on the most wanted list. He used the vacuum guy to go on the run and change his identity as Walt did. That's why he's totally paranoid about his identity being blown. The cabbie could have turned him in for a reward but I guess he's a fan, but it might be time for Gene to get out of town with a new identity.
