Beating Hearts (I'm Not Losing This Feeling)

(Namine's POV)

I got almost everything I wanted done, done and even got a few things ready for (Y/N), like a better looking bed design to make it feel like his not sleeping in a base, but in a nice cozy bed instead. Granted it won't be real, but an illusion, but in this case, it was really the thought that counts. Right now he should barely be able to remember any of those girls and see me as the one that helped him after his little adventures. The thought of him welcoming me with a smile and wanted me to cuddle with him to help him feel safe made me smile and feel so warm inside. I just skipped a little to my room on accident and stopped at the door before I went inside, but what I saw made my chest kinda hurt... Xion was cuddling with (Y/N) in my bed and I just have a very strong feeling that, that should be me there instead of her.

Namine-Get... Off him. *whisper*

Xion-... No. *whisper*

She held him tighter which made me drop my notepad then grip my pencil so tight that I accidently broke it. I walked up to them and I don't want to scare (Y/N) when he gets up, but then I remembered that he will love me more when he wakes up. He'll remember her from when she got here, but that's it and he'll see me as his hero. I crawled in the bed and over them before I cuddled (Y/N) by wrapping my arm around his belly then Xion glared at me, so I do so in return.

Xion-Let go. There's barely enough room on here. *whisper*

Namine-My bed and my prisoner. Why don't "you" get off then? *whisper*

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was starting to wake up and before I could even open my eyes completely I felt 2 people on both sides of me and whispering until I tried to move a little more. When I finally opened my eyes I saw Namine and Xion both in bed with me and I know Namine always lets me sleep with her, but I don't know why Xion is with us.

I scooted back a little to Namine and she smiled at Xion before she pulled me to sit up with her then Xion got up with us. I stretched a little then Namine started to help me out of bed for our morning routine she makes us do ever since she saved me from the red queen and her card people, before I met those weird lions, before I came from my world where my parents hit me a lot.

Namine-Why don't you just stay here Xion. I have to get (Y/N) in a bath.

(Y/N)-Can I have one alone this time?

Namine-Do you remember what happened last time?

(Y/N)-... I said I was sorry.

Namine-You flooding the bathroom and almost slipping and hitting your head on the corner of the bath was going to take more than "i'm sorry". You just need to sit still in the bath while sit on the side to watch and scrub you.

Xion-You're giving him a bath?

Namine-Is there a problem?

Xion-... Since we have business to talk about, then maybe I should come with you.

Namine-It can wait until after his bath.

Xion-It. Can't... Unless they need to know about this too.

Namine-... Fine, but stay out of my way. Come on (Y/N).

She took me out of the room and Xion was following us to the bathroom for my bath. I was so embarrassed that someone else was going to watch me take a bath. I like Namine since she did so much for me, but I don't know about someone else with us.

(Timeskip 4 Hours)

(No POV)

The day went on as others that were waiting for Xion to come back with the report any moment now, but when she didn't come back some of the members thought it would be best for someone more "direct" to go see how things are. That would be everyone, but there was one person they think might be just right for the job.

(Xion's POV)

(Y/N) being shy, nervous, playful, happy, and at some points surprised when to suddenly scream and grab him from behind a bit was making me feel so good. It was weird that either of us had feelings when we don't even have hearts, but she wants to hog this all to herself and I won't let her. When he wanted to play with us and Namine tried to hog him, he made an effort to include me which showed me even after his memories were changed to make some things better or worse, the nature of his heart was kind, but there was something that got under his skin.

Namine-Are you trying to flex for yourself? You're just so adorable.~

(Y/N)-Hey, i'm not adorable!

We both just kinda laughed at this and I never knew laughter would be so hard to not do. I tried to call him things like cute too to get more reactions out of him, but Namine challenged me by doing it too. Calling him things like cutie pie, stud muffin, cupcake, and much more we could think of until... his face got so red from blushing until he curled up on the ground. I was closer, so I scooped him off the floor and he whined a little, but not from pain or sadness.

Xion-*Chuckles* I guess you can only take so much compliments from how cute you are.

Namine-Give him to me. You're not holding him in a way he likes.

Xion-I'm doing it fine!

We fought over this for a bit before a portal opened then soon someone walked through it and it was "her".

Larxene-Sorry, but am I getting in the middle of something?

Xion-What are you doing here? I was sent to gather a report.

Larxene-Last I checked, reports don't take this long to get. Bosses got impatient and I was sent to see what was taking so long... Are you 2 playing babysitter with the prisoner?

(Y/N)-Huh?

Namine-Get out of here. I have everything under control.

Larxene-Looks like to me that you're doing more playing than guarding. Now that I see what you're doing, I have orders to take the prisoner with me.

Larxene was not the strongest, but she wasn't weak either and even if we were to beat her, the rest of organization 13 will just come after us and be labeled as traitors. That was only trouble for all of us and even more for (Y/N) if they take him like this. I had to think of something fast and when I did, it broke my heart, but I put (Y/N) down.

Xion-My report was delayed as I was curious to the conditions around here.

Larxene-Tell someone who cares, ok. You 2 can chat with the boss's all day long for all I care, but I have my orders that i'm going to follow. You're going to give me the kid and hopefully they can go to someone else in time.

Namine-Who will they go to if not me?

Larxene-Hmmm,... don't know, don't care. Now hand him over and nobody gets hurt.

Xion-Done.

Namine looked over to me with surprise and anger before she saw me cross my fingers behind me where I had it turned away from our uninvited guest. When Larxene was walking over (Y/N) ran to Namine and she only bent down to hug him before she whispered something into his ear then slowly pushed him away. Larxene took hold of (Y/N)'s hand and pulled him with her then I felt something that I didn't like, but knew the name of it already... Hate.

(Larxene's POV)

I took this kid with me back to my quarters and I still can't believe they put me on babysitting duty. Why couldn't they just throw this kid someplace dark, he can become a heartless, his friends submit to despair, and one thing leads to another, they become heartless as well. I closed the portal and pulled the kid next to my bed before I laid down to relax only to hear him whimper and cry as he went to a corner.

Larxene's mind-They could've at least put a replica in charge of him. This day is going to be such a headache.

As Larxene was "watching" (Y/N) Xion and Namine were thinking of what to say in order to get (Y/N) back without causing suspicions from the organization. They had one shot at this, so it needed to be perfect. They didn't like the idea of sharing much, but thing they could agree on was...
