2020-09-11 22:50:14 +0000 UTCAlso, this episode subtly explains the chair machine from Season 1. After Adam sends Charlotte and Apocalypse Elizabeth to steal baby Charlotte, they hand it over to H.G. Tannhaus the night that his own granddaughter is about to die. Giving him the baby is enough motivation to keep him from developing time travel in the time loop worlds and destroying them again. Instead, Noah blames Claudia for stealing his daughter and eventually goes through the newly-opened dark matter portal to meet with Adam for the first time. Adam instructs him to begin developing time travel in order to save baby Charlotte, and his prototype is the chair. Incidentally, he only tests children because he plans to send a young Charlotte back to her mother. He also only tests boys because he doesn't want to accidentally kill Charlotte if he chooses a girl and it turns out to be his daughter.

2020-09-11 20:37:24 +0000 UTCIt's funny to think that both of Charlotte's parents end up saving Jonas from hanging. This show is full of beautiful ironies. In addition, it seems that almost every couple is divided by the light/dark dichotomy. Jonas becomes Adam and Martha becomes Eve. Agnes sides with Adam while Noah sides with Eve (the Noah that sides with Adam is betrayed). Egon's wife ends up with Agnes while Egon helps Eve. Claudia becomes an enemy of Adam and infiltrates the ranks of Eve. Silja works for Adam, but Bartosz works for Eve (the Bartosz working for Adam is murdered by Young Noah). The only constant seems to be Magnus and Franziska, which is kind of sweet.
