We have another episode of Star Trek TOS today. Today's episode is Requiem for Methuselah. This was a cool episode. Our landing crew is in need of an antidote for the crew of the Enterprise. They come across what they need on a supposedly inhabited planet where they meet Flint and Raina. Things take a turn when Raina starks showing affection towards Capt. Kirk. Will our crew get what they came for? Watch and find out!

I'm afraid this story has never done much for me. It just kind of feels like 'Trek by numbers': Powerful alien guy tormenting the regulars. Some sort of sinister secret. Alien woman that Kirk falls in love with. Beautiful alien woman is an android. All these plot devices have appeared before. Trivia: the idea of an android self destructing because of love was used again in a TNG episode - and they do it brilliantly. (one of my Top 5. )
