Prehistoric Love (We Gotta Hunt)

((Y/N)'s POV)

It's been 3 hours and so far my uncle is still telling me they will sound another alarm with a message of everything being safe again. I was getting scared because there were pretty big dinosaurs here and they can be very, very, very dangerous and my uncle still won't get his gun. He tried to watch some T.V. and said we need to calm down, but I wish he would turn it off to help us hide.

Felix-Just relax, no dinosaur is gonna get in here.

(Y/N)-What about a T-rex?

Felix-If it was a T-rex we would be in a bunker with everyone else and dozens of of soldiers would be on the ground with tranquiller guns everywhere. It's probably some angry herbivore and some of them can be dangerous too, but only if you get too close. We're fine.

(Felix's POV)

I was told to be on the lookout for raptors, but my house should be enough to keep them out long enough for a team to get over if they get near us. I just need to keep my nephew as calm as possible, but he got this from his mom. I even got in touch with Val and she said she would need a few days to make another batch of what my nephew got sprayed with before she could even get started on something to counteract the effects, so for a whole week this was going to be a problem for him until he leaves.

Felix's mind-A week with my nephew, she said, it would be fun, she said, nice family time, she said.

(No POV)

The T-rex girl was starting to get really hungry and could see a huge dome with pterodactyls in it. She only saw them as food when she charged full speed for the glass and smashed her way through. While they were flying around and saw a way out our huge friend caught a few while many more were flying out and getting away only to be met with a helicopter soon after. They were being shot down with non-lethal darts and some caught the attention of the men in the helicopter as they headed straight for them.

Man-Pull up, pull up!

More were getting away and with no other food sources in sight for them most just scattered. While a few were heading in a specific direction they spotted something in a cage they had no idea about and only saw it as prey for now, but when they flew down they saw the creature stand up and roar before they were grabbed by getting too close and thrown to the ground. They tried to fly away, but one got kicked into a wall next to a door and broke a keypad which made the door malfunction and crack open a bit then went back and forth until it was pried opened only letting the guards watch or run.

???-*Growl*... RRRUUUAAAAGGGHHHH!!!

She started to walk off and chase after whoever she saw and killed them while she was going deeper into the forest.

((Y/N)'s POV)

I was just sitting at the table when I started to hear another alarm and I wondered if everything was safe now, but when I looked outside I saw those flying dinosaurs up in the sky and I shut the curtain and turned to my uncle.

(Y/N)-Uncle Felix, there's more dinosaurs out there! It's the flying ones!

Felix-What?

He got up and came over to see for himself and when he did he closed the curtain and went on his phone again. I heard it ring from here, but nobody answered his call so he turned to me.

(Y/N)-What do we do?

Felix-We stay put, plan does not change.

(Y/N)-We can't stay here all alone, everything is getting worse!

Felix-It's too dangerous to go out. Just go to your room and wait for me to come get you. I'm gonna have a few adult talks.

I just felt so mad and ran to the room he gave me and jumped in bed to punch the mattress. Why is he not listening to anything I say?! No gun, not going anywhere for help, we're alone out here. I saw a show called RWBY and I know what happens if everyone does not work together and stays alone!

(Timeskip 1 Hour)

I could hear my uncle talking to someone and he sounded kind of mad at the person he was talking to. Soon I opened my door and I heard my uncle say something weird.

Felix-No, back up. What plan?

Just then there was a knock on the door and I wondered who that could be then my uncle opened the door and I saw the man from before and my uncle hung up the phone. I went back around the corner, so they couldn't see me, but I could listen.

Hoskins-Sup buddy.

Felix-Don't you have humanoids and dinosaurs to be searching for?

Hoskins-And you are going to help or more specifically,... the kid is.

Felix-... Come again.

(Y/N)'s mind-What?

Hoskins-I had a talk and a look at the video of what happened in that little lab of yours and now I was told that another batch won't be ready for a while and I need it "now", so that just leaves me with one option.

Felix-Are you fucking mental or just stupid?! You can't be thinking about using a kid to help you!

Hoskins-Relax, he'll be perfectly safe. He's just gonna lure them to us and "my team" will take care of the rest.

Felix-You're not taking my sister's kid!

Hoskins-Oh come on. Do I need to make this more clear for you?! The humanoid raptors are god knows where more and more dinosaurs and humanoids are getting out because of the chaos, and this kid will-!

Felix-Be your bait?!

Hoskins-He'll be a hero to so many that he can literally help save and you're-!

Man#1-AAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Man#2-Humanoids!

I heard gunshots then my uncle slammed the door shut and I ran back to my room to hide under the bed. I saw shadows in my window and it was flying dinosaurs. I just know it and I could hear them hitting the house and the men were screaming and I was starting to cry.

(No POV)

In the middle of the chaos, there was more unwanted attention for the army already struggling to fend off the pterodactyls. They were coming to blow off more steam from being frustrated, but something fixed that...

???-*Sniff* *sniff*.

The smell is something they remember very well and they peeked from the woods and saw the army in the cars and firing guns. Going out there will be dangerous to get in, but they know how to play the waiting game since they can tell they won't be winning this fight and they saw men run only to come back later most of the time.

(Timeskip 10 Minutes)

((Y/N)'s POV)

Man-Fallback! *muffled*

I heard cars and stuff drive away and soon the flapping stopped too, so I think the dinosaurs left too and I got out from under my bed to open the curtain and my window was cracked a lot and hard to look out of, but I think they were all gone now. Just then my door opened and I jumped and I saw my uncle and he looked kinda happy to see me.

Felix-Thank god... Come on, we're going to my basement. There's a bunker in there.

He grabbed my hand, but then we heard something down the hall.

*Pound*

*Pound*

*SMASH*

Felix-Under your bed, go, go, go! *whisper*

I ran under my bed and he closed my door before he threw a blanket under my bed and covered me in it before he sprayed it and the room with the rest of the cologne he had on him before he went into my closet and closed the door quietly. Just in time too because I heard the door open and I made a tiny hole to peek out of the blanket a bit. I heard footsteps in my room and I covered my mouth to stay quiet and I heard tapping a bit on the floor.

???-*Deep sniff* Hm?

I saw who was here when they got down and even through the tiny hole I made, they were looking right at me and I know who they were... It was those raptor girls from the cage.

She was looking at me, but I didn't think she saw me and she reached and grabbed the blanket. I tried to keep it on me, but...

???-*Gasp*! *Screech*!

I felt more hands grab me and I was pulled out from the bed. The blanket was taken away and they had knives pointed at me before they suddenly looked happy and put them away and the blue one picked me up.

She was rubbing her face on mine and gave my cheek a kiss then went back to rubbing.

???-Hmmm.~

Just then they sniffed the air again and looked at the closet before they got really mad and the blue one held me tighter and ran outside with me and she was fast. The others stayed and I think they could smell me uncle.

(Y/N)-No, put me down!

She didn't listen and we got far away from the house very fast before she stopped in the middle of the woods and from how fast she was running, she was not even out of breath. She just looked at me again all happy. She petted my head and rubbed her face on me again. When I had my hand on her shoulder to get her to kinda stop I saw something in the back of her scarf.

(Y/N)'s mind-Blue... Is that her name?

I had to get away from her, but she was so strong and I could not get her to drop me even when I leaned all the way to make myself more heavy, but she only tickled my neck to make me come back up and close my neck, but I held my laughs in.

Blue-*Giggles*.~

She just gave me another kiss then soon her friends came back. I was scared when I saw blood on them some more and they were only wiping it away from water they somehow got on them.

(Y/N)'s mind-Uncle Felix?

The girls were nice to me, but I knew what they did, so I tried to fight them to get away, but Blue held me at her side with one arm while they all started to walk somewhere and I was screaming at them. All they did was just smile and try to play with me until they found a cave and went inside with me and passed me around while they did things and I found out their names thanks to their scarves. Delta, Charlie, and Echo.

(Y/N)-Let me go, let me go, let me go, let-!

Echo covered my mouth and just then I saw Blue and Delta start a fire and I didn't know they knew how to make a fire. They were dinosaurs in the first place or something, so how can they even know how to do that?...

(Y/N)'s mind-Did someone teach them?

They all got in a pile while I was on Echo and their tails pulled my legs in, so I was completely covered by them. They would not let me go and I started to cry wanting my mommy and daddy to help. The girls only started to kiss my face and I wanted them to stop.

(No POV)

A few hours passed before Hoskins army came back for the kid only to find what was left of a dead body of the scientist in the closet and (Y/N) was nowhere to be found. They left the house and when they reported to Hoskins. All he had to say was...

Hoskins-You find the kid, you find a humanoid dinosaur. Search the area and call out for him, stay on your toes, and he'll yell out for help.

That took that order and got to work on finding the kid since Hoskins believes he's the key to winning this for now.
