Prehistoric Love (Meet the Raptors)

((Y/N)'s POV)

My uncle took me out of the car and I saw people with guns and I stayed away from them. We walked up to a cage and there was a small cage room before the bigger cage and the doors looked very tough. I saw a sign, but it was hard to read it and the only part I could read was Raptors.

Felix-Hey, is the trainer here guys?

Man-Owen left a while ago. He's got tomorrow off too.

Felix-Well so much for a show... Guess you can just look.

(Y/N)-How about up there, up those stairs?

Felix-Yeah, I'm not sure that's a good idea. We'll see them from here as soon as they pass by.

(Y/N)-I don't see them.

We waited and I still didn't see them, so I picked up a rock and hit the metal a bit to make noise and get them to come, but nothing. I don't even know if they're here and my uncle looked confused.

Felix-Stay here.

He went into the first part of the cage and I was scared he might get hurt. when he got close to the bars I saw the raptor girls run from the side and that scared my uncle. He backed up when they reached in for him, but I saw a cut on his arm.

Felix-Ahhh, son of a-!... *Grunt*

(Y/N)-Are you ok?!

Felix-I'm fine, it's not deep... (Y/N), Meet Echo, Charlie, Delta, and Blue. Stay and look at them, I'm gonna go find a first aid.

All Raptors-*Growl*!

My uncle just left and I looked at the human raptors and they were looking at me and they did look mad. My mommy and daddy said they didn't think they could speak and I could ask my uncle when he got back, but just then I started to hear something a lot and when I listened carefully...

All Raptors-*Sniffing*.

(Y/N)-Huh?

They put down their knives and leaned into the bars trying to get closer, but they were far away from me. They didn't look very mad anymore then they all looked at each other and made some weird noises before they were just looking at me.

???-Hey kid.

I just turned and I saw a man walking toward me. I was kind of nervous that I might be in trouble, but I stayed still.

???-What'd you do?

(Y/N)-N-Nothing.

???-... Walk around a bit.

I did what he said and walked in a little circle and I saw the girls were following me and he was looking at them and even hit the bars and they looked at him for a bit before they looked at me again.

???-... Let's talk.

(Y/N)-About what?

???-You see how angry these dino-girls are right now?... Neither do I. Never seen them like this before.

(Y/N)-Uhhh... Ok.

???-Names Hoskins. Yours?

(Y/N)-Uhh... (Y/N)... I'm not supposed to talk to strangers.

Hoskins-We know each other's names now kid. How would you like a closer look?

(Y/N)-Like... inside the cage?

Hoskins-On top of the cage. Up the stairs.

(Y/N)-My uncle said that was not a good idea.

Hoskin-Relax, it's perfectly said and I happen to be in charge around here. Come on.

I followed him slowly still not sure what I should do and I waited a bit at the stairs before I went up. When I made it I saw the girls looking for me until they saw me up here. They were watching me again and I was scared up here.

Hoskins-Look at them kid. I don't know what it is, but I only saw these beasts show one emotion with us around... pissed off.

I ignored that since I'm not allowed to say that, but I looked at the girls while they were looking at me still and the man was talking. Soon he put his hand on my shoulder and one of the girls yelled at him and it got the others mad, so he took his hand off me, but now they were trying to jump up here. It wasn't working, but they had their knives and I saw how sharp their teeth were, so I just ran to get down from here and they were only going after Hoskins.

Hoskins-Calm down kid, they can't make it up here!

I didn't care and ran down the stairs and I saw my uncle coming up and ran into him almost making him fall and Hoskins was coming down now too.

Felix-What were you doing up there?!

Hoskins-Cool it, I brought him up here.

Felix-You're that military guy.

Hoskins-Hey, hey, we never met and you already sound like you don't really like me.

Felix-You brought my nephew up on those rails.

Hoskins-Well you should've been there. He has something that those hybrids like.

Felix-Wait,... what?

Hoskins-Take a look. Go to where you were before and I'll show you.

My uncle followed Hoskins and I came with them too and he hit the bars to make the girls come and pulled my uncle away from me a bit.

Felix-Huh,... they're supposed to be one of the most hostel in this park.

Hoskins-Watch this... or actually.

He pushed my uncle into me and the girls just growled at us. When He pulled my uncle away they only looked at him still made and he looked at me.

(Felix's POV)

No way... It should've just calmed them down, but now I can see they are forming a bond with him, but I don't know what kind of bond that is... I don't wanna know and I was putting an end to this now, so I took my nephew and pulled him away from the cage and that really pissed off the girls.

Felix-Well, it's been fun, but I think we had enough for the day.

I need to call Val when I get to my room here and tell her what happened and we are going to fix this. Hoskins only watched me leave with my nephew and the girls were starting to go crazy by jumping at the bars trying to get out before they ran off deeper into the cage.

Hoskins-We'll stay in touch!

Felix-We're good!

I just got us in the car and we drove off away from the cage. I was still wrapping my head around this because even with Y chromosomes in the serum we were sure to take out the effect to attract females in heat to prevent fights or something else like that. We tried it with herbivores in one of the testing phases and it worked for the most part, just had a side effect where... they were getting extremely violent afterward and we fixed that.

Felix's mind-Get it together Felix. We're just gonna make sure to get this stuff completely off him or make something to counteract it and you're sister will never know.

(No POV)

Back at the raptor's cage, the girls went from running around the cage and slamming themselves into the walls and bars they soon just "gave up". After a few hours, the staff there thought the girls were getting sick, and even when they went into the cage geared up and saw how weak the girls were. They didn't attack or do anything as the staffers started to worry and called for the girls to be transferred to a clinic to get checked. When they got loaded in the trucks and out of the secure cage all they did was smile in secret while they waited to be taken where they wanted to go.

(Timeskip 2 Hours)

((Y/N)'s POV)

It was starting to get dark and I was at my uncle's house on the island. It looked nice and the view was better because you could see some of the park. He was making some noodles for dinner and I was just looking out the window to see the park and I could see that huge fish dinosaur in the water from here, but the people were doing something to it before they opened a huge gate after what I think was a huge boat and something else huge was put inside and it was hard to see what it was, but it was huge.

Felix-Hey squirt, dinner's ready!

I just went downstairs and sat down at the table and looked around the house some more to see all the nice stuff he had before he came in with the food and I was so hungry.

Felix-Hey, do you mind wearing cologne tomorrow? I talked with Val and this might take a while to figure out.

(Y/N)-Um... Ok.

Felix-What do you want to go see tomorrow? There are a few other dinosaurs that nobody visiting the park has seen yet. How would you like to be the first kid to see them?

(Y/N)-Are they the part human ones?

Felix-Some, but we can go on some rides in the morning and see other dinosaurs.

(Y/N)-I want to see the flying ones.

Felix-Then get ready to be up by 8 in the morning because that will be the first place we shall go.

(Y/N)-Cool!

After dinner, I just started to get ready for bed and I pulled out my stuffed animal I keep secret to sleep with at night. I was excited about tomorrow to go see my favorite dinosaur because I saw some that looked like a small flying T-rex and the other ones have long and pointy mouths. Tomorrow is going to be awesome and before bed my uncle had me smell some of his colognes and I liked the one in the blue glass bottle.
