But it is crazy just how much the greater powers around him are using him as a pawn through the series. He is almost always an unknowing pawn in someone else's game.

The way they spell adnyeus does make it look Greek but I think it’s actually supposed to be Adonaios which is a thing in Gnosticism. The original world being an infinite sea I believe is a Hinduism thing so we’re mixing all of them up today. The entire fight this episode was anime original in the manga Ichigo tries to pull out the sword immediately then he kills the king. The name of the soul king is also new to the anime believe it or not and so is the scene at the start of him separating the worlds with yhwach there. So there’s a crazy amount of lore being added. Those aren’t even the only anime original scenes this episode. And most of last episode was anime original too. They did cut out one or two cute moments though. But in exchange they added some like with momo and soifon and most of the renji rukia scenes. So honestly at this point even manga readers have no idea what’s going to happen for the most part.
