We have another episode of Star Trek TOS today. This week's episode is Friday's Child. In this week's episode, our crew arrives at Capella IV to negotiate a mining contract for a valuable mineral. While there, they encounter a Klingon emissary vying for the same minerals. The Capellans' leader, Akaar, favors the Federation's offer over that of the Klingons. However, another Capellan named Maab challenges his leadership. Maab kills Akaar making him the new leader of Capella. Maab orders that Eleen, Akaar's pregnant wife, be killed, which our crew objects. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy manage to escape with Eleen into some nearby hills. As our heroes are chased by Capellans, Dr. McCoy is determined to help Eleen deliver her baby, despite her culture's prohibition against physical contact with a Teer's wife.
