2024-09-01 09:06:03 +0000 UTCThe reason zabimaru looks like that is cause of an omake in the manga which they put in one of the after credit scenes in the anime where mayuri says he can give zanpakuto sex changes. It shows a hypothetical female zabimaru. The design isn’t the same but it’s a tiny bit similar. That’s probably why they chose this design. I remember other people thinking muramasa’s sword hilt looked like a geass to and his ability is to control people. Coincidentally enough Ichigo and lelouch have the same English voice actor.
