Jack's room

Jack's room

No getting around the fact that I love the art.

PaddyOFurniture

Or maybe a book of secret recipes for that interesting machine.

PaddyOFurniture

More booze as well as stuff that LOOKS like booze.

PaddyOFurniture

Or MORE BOOZE! :P

Ahh the joys of an old building repurposed. So many previous occupants. So many odd little corners. So many little secrets. So much potential. Hopefully a secret door or hidden panel or even a loose floorboard with whatever mysteries they may contain. Perhaps even treasure.

PaddyOFurniture

Heh, not you make me wonder if there's an old hidden panel somewhere that's filled with a bunch of training equipment that was hidden away. Or perhaps even just an old stash spot that leads to Jack getting terribly tipsy one night on "Quite Good" sherry or something equally ridiculous. Extra points if there's a silk shirt he parades around in, because after all, he has felt silk in so long... Ah the small stories you tell yourself. :)

Dinker

Oh, yes - you guessed right! The bubbling machine is quite innocent thing. Just an ordinar alchemical machine...well, "alchemical" and " innocent"...you know, what I mean;) And about the room plan...So, you may be know such stories when the building errected for one purpose after a while becomes something different...Well for long time it was one big room with beautiful oriel, may be even a ballroom, and then Augusto become the owner of this place. So he divided big room to some number of little ones, to make more money, you know. So the plan of Jack's room is a bit more complicated this way. Once you'll see that.

Well obviously we're missing at least one whole wall in this view. So who knows what's on the side facing the interior. Actually this view is from a corner or this room is really weirdly shaped.

Dinker

Personally, I think that hole in the wallpaper cries out for a bull's-eye. Jack really should be getting some target practice in. One thing that worries me with that layout is how the landlord is possibly going to be able to watch Jack undress. It doesn't seem to have a place for a peephole anywhere. I suppose a periscope at the window would work but he doesn't strike me as the sort to make that kind of oversight.

PaddyOFurniture

Hmmm... Nice) We'll think about it and work up some of your ideas. Even for now I can see one amazing episode. Thanks. :)

Team Borsch

I wanted to add my own ideas for how the room might grow and change. All of this depends on how dynamic you all want it to be and how much in coding and art you can handle. First she should be able to buy a dress dummy or mannequin. Over the course of the game it might go from her hunter's outfit to perhaps some more feminine things to eventually something outright scandalous. That massive hole in the wall papering I can think of two options. One would be a lovely painting, perhaps the owner of the bar has one in storage that would be sufficiently lewd (but aesthetically pleasing enough to justify) to shock poor Jack. Or possibly he'll insist on having the paper replaced, limited money means something garish and pink and pretty and "You wanted new paper Jack! This was cheap, or would rather not eat for two weeks and get something else?" I won't begrudge the poor lad some trophies from his hunts, so perhaps some heads or mementos from quests on the walls and such. Eventually there of course needs to be some toys under a pillow, perhaps another under the bed. A set of oils and beads on the nightstand, along with some leather handcuffs. The wardrobe demands something pink and flimsy hanging off of it, eventually. And that pole... hopefully soon into the game you might come in to find Jack practicing agility, avoidance, strength and flexibility on it, just like you taught him. It's an important skill for a hunter, you never know when you'll be caught in a tight space! As for that sinister looking bubbling machine... well I'm sure you already have a story for that! Soooooo looking forward to this game!

Dinker

they dont have phone books, so consider it a civil directory if it makes you feel better. Or maybe a green bound 50 shades of grey.

Sinlaire

That's no way to treat a book.

PaddyOFurniture

Well... Let me think... Of course the location is a mirror of its occupant. So for now it looks this way - ordinary room in the cheap tavern. How will it look like later... oh well, we'll see that. And what would you like to find there? ^_^

Team Borsch

That butt though

Twisted Mystery

Will this change as you corrupt her? Cause it's way to tidy and (sorry to say) boring right now :P
