As long as it isn't eggplant. :) Seriously, though, such points need to be brought up and are partly why I created BC in the first place. And actually, I love eggplant, sliced, dipped in milk, then dredged in cornmeal and fried. MmHm! :) Just like fried green tomatoes!

As a person at the mild end of the autistic spectrum the use of tropes like simile and metaphor, particularly extended metaphor are difficult to understand and use effectively. Irony is exceptionally difficult. The fact that it is contra-factual will make it amusing, but I would not have known that it was amusing had I not been told. I hope I understand Erin's intent, but it is a confusing caption and image to a neurodiverse person, and I am led to believe that an interest in TG is more common amongst neurodiverse people than it is amongst neurotypical people. Food for thought?

2024-05-06 17:46:50 +0000 UTCThe very fact of it being contrafactual is what makes it funny. It's a trope in a lot of fiction. At least in TG fiction, the lampshade is often a vibrant shade of fuchsia. :)

2024-05-06 15:00:44 +0000 UTCNice picture but this sort of chauvinist captions and stories annoy me. I doubt you meant to imply that women can't work as Partners in a firm (junior or Senior), or that men couldn't work as receptionists...but that is what that caption implies.
