One of my favorite Voyager lines: ‘The only Klingon I’m afraid of is my wife after a double shift.’ Good episode. Good podcast. I have to say, I know interpretation of prophesy is pretty wide open but there’s a fair amount of evidence that Baby Miral was in fact the Kuvah’magh. Long odds that they’d find someone to cure their illness. Love the shoot-out on the Bridge. Seems like Tom was able to defeat his enemy using HIS weapon of choice (phasers) in a real battle. Love the throw-back photos. Wish we had the training scene.

2024-01-12 22:20:55 +0000 UTCTotally agree! I also saw another person being offended about it in the comments. Some people nowadays get easily worked up about old movies and shows. And yes, this was a Klingon woman so it was true to their alien culture, also it was funny. Who cares, people need to loose up!

2023-07-18 12:46:00 +0000 UTCYou can't use or compare 2023 Human values on or with another culture in Star Trek. Acts of violence including biting someone are part of the Klingon Mating Rituals. What if some alien came down and said: oh wearing clothes is entirely improper and a great insult to us and burned down the whole planet? And oh BTW, I could totally see the Doctor saying the same thing to Janeway or Torres. He is an equal opportunity don't give a f@ck advice giver. The D7 Battle Cruiser is around 100 years old with outdated technology and weapons. How is it possible that Voyager takes such a beating from it before figuring out how to track it and disable it? They should have shown small minimal hits with Janeway not being overly concerned about them.

2023-06-19 20:48:24 +0000 UTCThe transporter checks to see if someone is there before it re-materializes a person. If it didn't, there would be sooooooo many accidents lol.

2023-05-25 22:41:08 +0000 UTCAre you guys gonna do an overall retrospective on Voyager after you've watched every episode? Favourite and least favourite episodes, alternate endings, how the show could have been improved etc?

2023-05-25 22:13:50 +0000 UTCAs soon as I saw that Klingon, I wondered if that was Michael Dorn! Yes, Garrett, I totally see a resemblance!

2023-05-25 15:35:47 +0000 UTCThe bat'leth B'Elanna was given looked ancient because it was the same prop that was used in DS9's "Sword of Kahless"

2023-05-24 14:04:03 +0000 UTCAs a “podcast ending ”show are there any thoughts about opening transwarp questions at least once!!!! to the lower decks. Sorry Jason and Sabrilu but it would be nice ..once ..for us to get to ask something…

2023-05-24 01:48:48 +0000 UTCThe director died in 2019. Maybe he was so sedentary because he wasn’t in good health. .??

2023-05-22 22:58:35 +0000 UTC"Revenge of the Salamander Babies" really needs to include the Captain Proton set!
Heather Irwin
2023-05-22 22:12:57 +0000 UTCI really want to see or read that deleted scene from the script

2023-05-22 21:05:12 +0000 UTCI wanted to see a Tom Paris montage scene of him training for the fight too! Also the Doctor said there were only 2 options for Harry, but Neelix was able to come up with a 3rd option pretty quickly.

2023-05-22 18:41:59 +0000 UTCClearly Janeway's favourite pie would be Pecan Pie!

2023-05-22 16:19:37 +0000 UTCI am geeky in another way that actor who was on General Hospital as an early role was on that show in 73-74 not in the 60s. I have a book from the mid90s that gives the character history. That actor played the biological father of Laura aka Genie Francis (if someone knows nothing about US soaps in the real world she is married to Jonathan Frakes aka Will Riker for over 30 years) though he appeared before she was part of the program. Less than five years ago they wrote a story about Laura meeting her two half brothers that she didn’t grow up with, one was played by Jeff Kober who guest starred in Voyager’s Repentance from last week and Michael E. Knight best known as Tad on AMC (who Robbie worked with back in the 80s). IMDB is not as accurate as it should be when it comes to certain US daytime soaps, but that is a very long story and way off topic so stopping now…

2023-05-22 12:59:29 +0000 UTCOk yall said ppl would point it out in the comments, well, here i am to validate that LMAO (but srsly on some nerdy bs...) Garrett is 1000% on point, sorry Robbie but this IS their main drinking song from DS9... https://youtu.be/cTuD6xf-ync and Neelix sang it previously when trying to encourage B'Elanna to celebrate her heritage for the "Day of Honor" EMH also sang it with translations in "Barge of the Dead" (which ive always appreciated tf out of frfr ijs) https://youtu.be/QYr1oBhQPbw Pt being, it was DEF NOT something Neelix improvised just to hook up with the hot n heavy Klingon chica, ijs

2023-05-22 09:09:15 +0000 UTCHi Garrett and Robbie, just to let you know that all Voyager episodes were 44-46 minutes long, not 43. That must have been before they cut episode times short to fit in more commercials.
