As in nearly every piece of media that has them, the smart play is to team up with the player characters. It’s just so blasted difficult to recognize them as anything but slightly deranged wanderers with disproportionate luck.

The wise course for Nendra would be to ally with the MC and create a power structure outside of the Matriarchs' control. But with drow you can never tell, their penchant for ego fueled poor life choices is legendary. I'm looking foward to future chapters.
