Story 2
Added 2023-04-30 03:19:01 +0000 UTCSo, I think it’s about time to make something premium that actually has some kind of content. I already know what my next story will be; an adaptation of the Skulls and Shackles adventure path for Pathfinder. Drawing upon quite a lot of my own notes for homebrew and world building from the longest campaign I’ve ever run.
Its probably going to be a lot lower power than Erich’s romp in Azeroth, and a little more focused. It will still be in the same universe, but I will be making much less use of the Catalog.
There’s so much you can do with the actual rules as written for pathfinder, I only need a little bit of simplification and homebrew to make it work. Giving Erich’s next incarnation a full binding would just cheapen things.
The first thing I’ll be doing here is releasing a weekly poll, and patrons will be able to make choices for Erich’s build in his new life as Emrys, a little at a time. Hopefully that’ll be fun; if I get no takers, oh well. I’ll keep writing either way.

I liked having a sorta-external system bible I could reference and play off of for my first story. Most of my storytelling experience comes from DMing and I wanted something that was a little more limited in scope than “if you can get someone to wear this necklace, you are their god now” for story two. So pathfinder seemed like a good option, and one of the very few worlds I know as well as Warcraft is… well, the world where I played the role of literally everyone for 2.5 years.

2023-05-01 21:05:58 +0000 UTCI don't know anything about Pathfinder and very little about TTRPGs (only watched a few dozen Episodes of Critical Role over the last 2-3 Years, never finished a Season.. yet), but I really enjoy your WC Story and will def. read your new one as well~
