August's Plot Bunnies Poll

It’s that time of the month again!

(Meaning, the time when I realize the month has less than a week left to go, and I panic even harder than usual.)

It’s also the time I usually take to thank all of you for still being here or for having recently jumped in. When I remind you that none of this would be possible without you and that I’m more grateful than I can properly put into words for your support (it’s usually when I also crack a self-deprecating joke about putting things into words being my job).

This time around?

Well, in some ways, it’s the same as usual, but in others…

It’s recently been my birthday, and the Patreon will be two years old soon enough. My life has gone through some changes as of late, most of which have been incredibly disruptive (some of you know what I’m talking about, but I’ve chosen not to burden the whole page with my issues), and I’m struggling to regain my top update speed while improving on my quality.

(At the same time, yes, because why settle for a single unrealistic goal?)

I have achieved some things I didn’t expect to (or feared I wouldn’t be able to). I finished Ginosko, have stuck with projects without abandoning them, have continually braved my issues with sharing my work with others and engaging with them, have kept learning something different from every new project… Well, you know. If you’ve been paying attention, you most definitely know.

So, there’s still a lot of work to do. I need to learn how to better separate my work from my life so that they don’t negatively affect the other, I have to get back into a proper healthcare routine (so that I don’t have to buy new pants), and I need to work on my next story having a backlog so that updates are once again consistent and predictable.

Oh, and overcome my anxiety when it comes to finishing stories because I think that both Wake-up Call and All Right! Fine! I Will Take You! have been harmed by my posting updates while skirting around the point of no return.

Yeah. There’s a reason why my originals, once fully edited, tend to shine brighter than the ongoing fics…

Anyway, that’s enough of a rant from me because this is, most of all, the time for you to vote and tell me what I should be working on over the next month now that I’m finally catching up with (some of) my accumulated work.
