Poll Results and Monthly Goals
Added 2023-05-02 11:32:36 +0000 UTCThe poll winners are both kinda dull and immensely relieving: you guys told me to rest—which, for any of you new around these parts, means that I’ll do my best to catch up to the projects that have fallen behind.
Mostly because I’ve developed a very particular kind of insomnia: I wake up in the middle of the night to finish writing things.
Yup. That sounds healthy.
As a reminder, what I should be writing are Steve Rogers and Toni Stark’s meet cute (which will be a disaster of epic proportions, hopefully on par with Victoria Von Doom’s college experience), the long-delayed next chapter of Tales From a Lewd Fantasy World (which I think I finally have pegged down), and I believe there also was a Chef’s Choice winner that I was going to devote to Megamind’s utter incomprehension of the phrase “Netflix and Chill.”
Okay. That sounds manageable. Nothing that should give me too much trouble. Let’s see what else I should be writing this month—gosh friggin’ darn it!
Right. Right. I can do this.
And by “this,” I mean I can write the next a Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy before the week’s over. And then try and finish Ginosko.
As most of you know, Ginosko is both a commission (that means it supplements what I get from the Patreon so I can, you know, eat) and an original of mine (that means it should be a higher priority than any fanfic, no matter how much I love them). It’s been verging on being complete for months now, as I have been forced to push it aside to take care of my accumulated workload.
No more.
The story deserves a proper ending, the characters deserve a proper ending, and I’ll give it to them to the best of my ability. That should be two or three chapters if I don’t mess anything up, so… look forward to me likely messing up.
But also, to me finishing an original novel. It’s taken long enough, hasn’t it?
