March 20th to 25th Schedule

All right, this is me posting this despite my own shame at my failing to uphold last week’s compromise.

… Remind me not to freak out when starting pivotal arcs. Again.

(Seriously, All Right! Fine! I Will Take You! took an ungodly amount of time and mental effort, given the mediocre result it ended up in. I’m sorry my own little hang-ups interfere with what I should be giving you all.)

The good news is that I’ve got a lot of things half-finished, so this week should be a bit more productive. With that being said, here’s the hopefully realistic schedule:

Also, writing “April’s polls” just made me realize that… It’s going to be April’s Fools in a few days.

Panic Mode: On.

Okay, the thing is, I’ve loved all the Seasonal specials so far, even if in different ways. The Halloween Special feels like something that could easily be turned into a short adventure game with the kind of humor that made me fall in love with Lucas Arts as a kid, The Christmas Special is possibly one of my best pieces of writing since I began this whole thing (maybe tied up with some of Ginosko’s and Wordsworth's chapters), and Love Potion Number 1402 was, while not as good as an overall piece, a wonderful writing experience once I really got Blair’s character. I was struggling with whether to write another one for Easter or not because I really don’t see the Spanish Holy Week as anything I want to write about, and I am not familiar with the whole Easter Bunny thing from other countries—or at least not enough to make something out of it other than a generic bunny girl sex comedy.

But… April’s Fools.

Yeah, this snuck up on me, because the Spanish equivalent is on December 28th, but, really, a prank war gone wrong? That’s basically what I ended up loving in the Halloween Special. I can work with April’s Fools in disturbingly hilarious ways. This could be good.

Of course, the possibility of things being good is one of the things that terrifies me most because if they aren’t, that’s entirely on me. Also, I don’t have a plan.

So… Any thoughts about this? Do you want two seasonal specials one after another? Should I forget about my half-assed plans to do a bunny girl story that would make Mirko cry? Should I devote the last week of the month to writing a rushed April’s Fools’ story that would traumatize a Thinker seven? Inquiring minds want to know!

Yes, those inquiring minds are all mine. I’ve come to accept that weaponized DID is my modus operandi. Anyway, I’m turning this into a short poll so that you can weigh in, and if you want to comment over here or in the Discord, I’ll be quite grateful. See ya in a few hours with the conclusion to Yunyun’s first dungeon raid and Kazuma’s latest raid of Yunyun.

Thank you very much for saying so, it really makes my day when my originals are valued over my fanfics. My first impulse is to write both stories, but I'll see if I can come up with something worth reading in the time I have left.

Tbh your specials were what got me to subscribe on patreon and they have, at least so far, been great in quality. You being late with regular chapters for a special doesn't seem like that big an issue (considering the quality of your writing, chapters being slightly late doesn't seem like an issue anyways). All in all just chill and write what you want
