September 12th to 18th Schedule and Small Poll
Added 2022-09-12 19:14:50 +0000 UTCAll right, this time around I almost managed to stick to my goals (Wordsworth is… well, I’m trying to make it perfect, which as anybody who knows the first thing about writing will tell you, is the best way for something to not be written). I’m currently working on what should be the sex scene with more build up to I’ve ever written (seriously, the story’s already novel length, this is worse than an old school visual novel with a single sex scene per route), and I hope to finish it before the day’s over.
On the brighter side, my eye-tic is almost healed. Hopefully, it will go away entirely as I keep working off my sleep debt.
Now, as to my well-wishes for the following week:
- Monday: Finish the Wordsworth chapter. Fingers crossed.
- Tuesday: Wake-up Call. It should be a straightforward sex scene, picking right up where the last chapter left off. I hopeit will stay like this.
- Wednesday: Tales from a Lewd Fantasy World. It turns out, my writing down my doubts regarding the series made me come up with what I think is quite a good next chapter. It’s just that, this time around, it’s not me taking a hentai trope and making it fit fantasy, but a fantasy trope that will fit hentai. Hopefully, it will look as good on paper as it does in my head.
- Thursday: All Right! Fine I’ll Take You! This one I’m a bit doubtful about. I could continue Iroha’s POV right up to meeting Hachiman’s parents, or I could switch back to Hachiman. The first option seems more interesting, as it would let us see Iroha’s relationships with her schoolmates, but maybe it’s just beating a dead horse, at this point.
- Friday: I’ll either finish Wordsworth if I mess up today (which I obviously hope I won’t), or I’ll get to work on the Yui’s Lily Garden chapter. It’s likely that will take me more than one day, given it’s also kind of a pivotal point in the story.
- Saturday: I’ll try and get an illusion of a social life. Mostly, to take notes on how non-imaginary humans speak with one another (they often seem quite disappointing, it’s as if they don’t even have a consistent inner narrator).
- Sunday: I’ll either finish the Yui’s Lily Garden or start working on the next Pure Knight’s Natural Enemy. That alwaystakes more than one day.
Now, as to the poll:
It’s been brought to my attention that the reading experience on Patreon is not precisely stellar (something I should’ve realized myself, given the site’s tendency to eat up the spaces between words in italics). Maybe I could solve that by also posting the chapters in e-book, doc, or PDF format? Is that something you’d like me to do?
Comments
Thanks for the feedback. I mostly use it on my phone when I want to refresh my memory on a past chapter, so I'm not the best at judging how it works. I think i'll end up doing the ebooks for finished arcs as a perk for the subscribers.
