May 30th to June 5th Schedule
Added 2022-05-30 18:38:46 +0000 UTCSo, you guys must be getting tired of these postmortems that basically only tell you how bad I am at guessing how productive I’ll actually be (and if you are, please tell me so), so I’ll try to keep this brief.
I managed to finish Wordsworth on time (though not to my complete satisfaction), and then started working on Wake-up Call for a Wednesday release that… didn’t work out, because Wednesday was the first time I could go see my father after the whole COVID thing and it turned into a family event that had me go back home far too late to get things done. I was stubborn and tried to push past it, but that only meant that I deleted everything I’d written the morning after when I saw how utterly awful it was (too heavy on the comedy, too light on absolutely everything else).
That turned Thursday into a writing marathon where I managed to pull off what I think is a pretty good chapter, but my head was pounding like crazy and, on Friday, after I finished the ARFITY chapter, I was just spent. I tried to work on Saturday, but it was a lost cause and I just managed to do a bit of the Ginosko chapter.
And then came Sunday.
And I… well, I did it.
I finished Zaimokuza’s story.
I’ve already written what that means to me on the chapter in question, but let’s just say I’m still faintly disbelieving that I managed to do so. I stayed up till about 6 a.m. today, between writing, editing, and just processing that, yes, it is finally over.
Which brings us to this week’s schedule!
- Monday: I’d usually write Wordsworth, but the next chapter is kind of important and I think I’ll let it stew on my mind for a bit. Which means that, hopefully, I’ll manage to finish Ginosko’s fourth chapter.
- Tuesday: Wake-up Call. This one should be a shortish chapter, but it’s also kind of important, so let’s see how it turns out. If I’m not too drained, I’ll finish April 17th.
- Wednesday: Either April 17th or Self Insert of the Dead. I’ll also announce the poll results.
- Thursday: All Right! Fine! I’ll Take You!
- Friday: Yui’s Lily Garden (this one has quite a few words accumulated, let’s see what I pull off).
- Saturday: Breathe.
- Sunday: Another ending, if I can manage it: Tangled Regrets’ final chapter.
So… that’s it. This is me being concise. And you wonder why I charge by the word… Let’s just hope this week is somewhat more realistic (read: less hectic) than the previous ones.

Thank you very much! I admit I've been accumulating fatigue like crazy over the past month, but, well, these have been extraordinary circumstances, and I need to get a better grip on things. Let's see how I manage :)
