Announcement: Webstore

I have a fun announcement today! And some questions for you.

I'm finally getting a storefront set up where I can sell you my old costumes, garments, etc. - as well as some of the things I've made (tiki shirts, various crafted items, etc). And some of my cool nerd collectibles that I don't have room for anymore (but that I love a lot and don't want to just donate to charity where they may get trashed by someone who doesn't appreciate their provenance).

In the interest of keeping it simple and being able to actually stay on top of listing the items, I'm planning to use eBay. I do have a store on my own website but it's a bit of a hassle for me to list things, which has kept me from doing it... so... I'll pay the eBay commission on the sales and then at least this will get done and be available for you!

Whatever I end up with, the webstore will be open to the public, but the reason I'm doing this is for my subscribers. I've received a lot of requests in DMs to purchase items like this and I havent done a great job of staying on top of that, so I think I need a better system for managing order requests. Because of that, your opinion matters a lot! I'm doing this for you guys so I want to make sure it's going to be what you need.

My questions are:

- What items do you want to see me list for sale?

- Is eBay a platform you can use? Should I consider a different one that's more accessible to you? (I do have an etsy store but their commission can be more than 31% with all the add-ons so I'd rather not use it unless I have to.)

- If you want me to use a different platform, which one?

Comment here or send me a DM, either one is fine.

I'm working on setup today, so I should have some listings up soon - perhaps even tonight! Let me know what you'd like to see first.

Ebay is probably the easiest platform though the fees suck. You can have your own store platform made but that's usually not worth it unless it's a decent amount of sales. Etsy is another good one though I've never used it. Calenders would be a good idea I think, could use a good pic from different photo sets. And of course make them seasonally appropriate for the month. Someone else mentioned 3d figurines from a body scan of you. That's a good idea too, could both real life accurate or "exaggerated" fantasy figures. Things you can sew would be good, I don't know if you do leather work but things like book covers, coin purses and bags sell well. Last, as long as it's within your limits of what you feel comfortable with, bras would be a good seller I'd think, along with bikinis. Could also make your bras custom order, especially fantasy ones like chain mail.

Digital Photos that are not available on any of your platforms. Allow for your hand signed hard copies at a little higher price point. Books on your must read list also including a personal message/inscription. I have already purchased a book from the great shoppe of yours in Fla as well as your handmade items (bow-tie comes to mind). There can be a wind range of offerings but I fear (almost as much as desire) that they would not be in your comfort level. Maybe allow for a G rated Cameo type of thing. The customer submits a request with some outline of points to cover. Different levels of duration and associated price points. No nudity but, if you are ok with it, record the reply in one of a menu of costumes/outfits. Maybe just a short personalized handwritten note from you. Sealed with your favorite scent and sealed with a lipsticky kiss. The possibilities are endless and potentially lucrative. But those who kind of know the solid person you are, respect your boundaries and I will help you in any way I can.
