Happy New Year 2025 - Quick Blog

Firstly, I want to thanks you for following and supporting my works by far and I also wanted to apologize if I seem lacking recently, last December have been hectic in a few ways.

Now that the new year is here, instead of lamenting what I couldnt do or finish, I wish to celebrate what I managed to work so far in 2024 then make a new resolution for 2025.

What I've done last year (2024)

- Worked on [Pearly Salon] until version 0.3, rehauling the whole system made up to 0.2. Happier with the current system, and now mostly working on assets and writing.

Current demo version here.

- Made a short game jam in between, called [Spybreak]: This is where I learn to make use of picture buttons and other functions, necessary to improve Pearly Salon.

- Started a comic [3 Smooth Dates], still work in progress, because there are some additional changes to the script as per requested by certain someone.

Pages so far are in the comics tag

- Created 2 new characters, debuted alongside Nur-Ain as per this post.

- Not so much but made a few random illustrations as well.

What I will do this year (2025)

- To keep developing Pearly-Salon into the game I envisioned and more. Hopefully finish the main bulk of the game before the side-contents/stretch goals.

- Make more small game jams, some might become a full fledged game if received well.

- To finish [3 Smooth Dates]

- To make more content involving the trio, Nur-Ain, Aaliyah and Leila

- Hopefully do a collab project with the other cool artist, not gonna name names for now.

and most importantly,

- To better take care of my health, both physically and mentally, so I can work on Pearly Moon projects consistently without burning myself out.

But for now, I just want to enjoy relaxing this week, more updates to come soon!
