Pearly Salon 0.3/Overhaul: MINI-showcase-Demo (updated)

Its been a while but finally I managed to finish enough to release a new demo.
However, I need to make emphasize that this version is not the "main" game yet.
PearlySalon_0.3a - Mini-Demo_Mac
In this demo, I mostly wanted to showcase:
- Complete remake of the client's model from the ground up, with new layer system
- The complete rework of the haircutting/shaving system, with new UI, animations and controls
- the new mapping style, made via parallax mapping
- and one more extra feature, if you can find it.
Feedbacks are appreciated as usual, the earlier we can squash them bugs the sooner I can implement more of the good stuffs
Keep in mind it's still WIP so it still subject to some changes.
Near Future
As of now, the content may seem lacking than the previous 0.2 version, that is because a lot of it are still a work in progress, especially the Client personality and Haircut request system, among many other things.
So it wasn't "cut", its just going through a do-over.
I'm also hoping to add in the other hairstyles/types as well as more outfits in the coming main demo as well, I had to make sure the coding side goes well BEFORE I start making the rest of the assets
I promise that these will be in the main game, some can be added gradually:
- Clients personality and hair request
- More hair and clothes variation on clients.
- Shop and inventory system
- Story, quest and progression system
- Locations outside of the Salon
- More NPCs to interact with, relationship system
- Hair economy
- and some more

Once again, I apologize for how slow the development is but I really wanna put my heart and passion into this project and that takes time.

2024-11-17 18:21:58 +0000 UTCIt would definitely be interesting if there was a larger variety of hairstyles to shear away as development progresses~ Maybe we could have styling as part of the gameplay, too? As in, a client requesting their hair to be tied up in a ponytail/braid before a chop, or after such, that you finish their visit with a nice hairdo~
