Still no demo for now, there's still a lot to be done redoing the important parts of the game first, coz I want to ensure the best possible experience AND also to allow more contents into the next versions (such as hairstyles and characters) without having to modify a large chunk of the game
But for now, I can only tease some concepts and WiPs of whats to come for the new version of Pearly-Salon
Namely the new "Salon Mode" which is should be more intuituve than teh decision based system in the previous.
This way, it will be more click based rather than keyboard much like how [SpyBreak] work, and if possible, mobile.
While not a high priority, I also working on making the haircutting segments more animated than just moving the pictures around.
Tho animating the hair alongside it will be a difficult task to do in this engine, tho it would be cool if possible.
These animations are tests for now and may not be final just yet.
Im considering animating the other tools as well, like the shaving cream and hairwash
While Im still figuring out the best way to set up the client's layers (body, hair and outfit and such) but I do play around with some fashion to make the client as varied as possible.
Yes it will be a lot of work making all these assets, but once I got the base assets template set and the layers figured out, it should be smooth sailing from there
Of course, developing this new version on my own means I may missed a lot of things and as usual, may need feedback.
So i'm considering making two different kind of demos, a fuller one and a small one, the latter is basically the same but most content locked out, just the important features.
So I could focus bugfixing the main game before the content
