Heyya Everyone,
Sorry for the late posts, Ive been sick all of last week and just recently recovered.
I'm happy that some played the demo and the feedbacks help me fix teh bugs and with the development progress of the game. Working in RPGmaker to do the way I wanted can be kinda tricky and I'm not exactly a coder, but I will do my best to find the best way to optimize.
(Shoutout to Wyoomy for the scripting pointers, I'm still trying to understand it tho)
As of now, the main goals for the next build are:
- Additional graphics for the characters
- Shorn hair appearing on the cape and floor
- Back Mirror
- Pearly's haircut
- Reward balancing
- Reworking the fail conditions
- Mac version
Of course, there are some major features planned, some suggested by Full Moon Supporters and early playtesters, but I'm still mulling over it first, coz some of them can be kinda overwhelming without some foundation built first.
But I really appreciate the suggestions all the same
Even the graphical assets Im using for the game now may be temporary, they are meant to be placeholders until I draw it better, so one step at a time.
and yes, finally some proper Pearly-chan's portrait, with her signature fluffy hair.
As well as some other minor things that are still WIP:
- Portrait bust, using a certain plugin, I can make the face image appear as a bust portrait, which is common now for most hrpg.
- Back Mirror; so players can view the backside without relying too hard on the numbers, and also to appreciate the nape.
- Fallen hair; On cape and on the floor, players can clean it up after closing and also collect them. Aside from teh extra activity, they hair will have some use... in the future.
- Day and Time, im planning to make certain days to have certain events or NPCs so this UI reflects that. Number of days will be on a separate counter.
Of course, some of you noticed her hair grows out as the day goes (albeit a lil too fast), coz yes, that is a system I did put in and her portrait will reflect that, and of course, she can cut it herself, altho limited for now.
There will be a use of this eventually, besides making dear Pearly looking great however you prefer.
I'm also trying to make my own sprites to match the characters, tho pixel art is not my strong suit, so it may look jaggy for now.
Also some early concept sketches of the yet-to-be-named Assistant, tho I am also considering using my other OC, Nur-Ain.

So that concludes today's post. I was hoping to post more but Im still catching up with a lot of things as well, with my dayjob and commishes.
