Watermark problem: solved?

The issue is that I really do need to watermark my DIY/tutorial / til type videos (people keep reposting them without credit). But when I add the watermark, the algorithm penalizes me by reducing my reach.
Also, you guys have (politely) told me that you don't like the watermarks either. (Again, the reason I use them is people reposting without authorization. Which sucks.) And while I couldn't just stop using them, I did listen, and I've been trying different ways to solve that.
This is just a proof of concept (I'll have proper vinyl lettering shortly), but I'm really happy with it!
