Work In Progress : 18th Century Stays
Added 2024-03-11 20:32:10 +0000 UTCI finally have a functional set of rococo stays!!! Now I can work on my red silk gown, since all the underpinnings for it exist π₯°

The corset is still not in its final form - it won't look so awkward when it's complete. My rule is if it is uncomfortable, it doesn't fit. And must be changed

It looks from the corset profile that it is binding you tremendously- to the point of discomfort or just pressure assuming they the stays and construct of the corset are done properly? Fascinating stuff. I appreciate the progress reports.
