This program is for the TOTAL BEGINNER to weightlifting
Structure: This program has an extensive drill set that tapers off over the four weeks. There is a limited amount of strength work as this is designed to learn the skill of the snatch and clean and jerk.

Loading and Weight Selection: VERY IMPORTANT - There is not allotted weight percentage on this program therefore you must let MOVEMENT determine load (unless directed to only use the bar). It is important to understand that as a beginner heavy and near maximal lifting WILL NOT help you get better and build beneficial neuromuscular connections. Put the ego aside and learn.
