playing with toys on highchairs and cribs
Added 2025-06-30 12:59:31 +0000 UTCput your infant in a crib or high chair, or your toddler in a high chair, and you’ll see a new interaction: "play with toy". you can pick any toy from their inventory, and your baby will start playing with it.
base game compatible
requires the xml injector
works with toddlers and infants!
infants can play in cribs while sitting or lying on their back.
if you have the "growing together" expansion, infants need to unlock the grabbing milestone to use this interaction.
playing gives a strong fun boost and adds this moodlet to your baby:
there’s also a small surprise - a secret moodlet with a 20% chance to appear after the interaction ends :)
the mod also works with my invisible high chairs.
you can place your baby anywhere, on a kitchen cabinet, table or bed, and let them play while you do your own thing nearby 🧡

I looked for the ‘play with toy’ action and clicked on the child and on the toy in the inventory, but nothing happened. My friend has the same issue. I reread the post several times, but maybe I'm still doing something wrong?

Could you one day do like nap with toddler(like how you have nap with infant) and read to toddler(like a different animation or a whole new one IDK, the original is boring)
