Building a loop-playing prototyping board.
Added 2024-10-17 22:20:45 +0000 UTCSo I ordered these parts for the Cassettone Two, but they won't arrive for a few weeks. That is way too long to just wait around without working on the machine.
So in the meantime I built this prototyping board that lets me test different components as if I already had the needed parts.
It was a fun labor of love that I had just gotten up and running when something unexpected happened...

Not only were you able to show working out the roller enhancement and other important bits that will be needed for the final project, but also the execution of a prototyping rig. Most builders skip that stage for a tidy video of the final pass at a build. Quick and dirty prototyping of iterations is how to work through failures faster and is 99% of getting to most any final result!
