Patreon really needs to figure something out for that. Right now the only option artists have to to use Patreon like a glorified paysite/checkout system.

2016-07-20 12:49:18 +0000 UTCI have a 40 hour a week job working for 'The Man' and this is just a hobby I make a few extra bucks at. The reason I don't do monthly is because (to my understanding) Patreon will collect those payments weather or not I produce anything that month. This provides protection to you, the consumer. If I fail to produce anything, then you don't get charged. I feel this is the most honest way to work on Patreon given my personal circumstances. Thanks for your support
