**NEWS** Patreon iOS Update (New Members)
Added 2025-10-05 14:19:49 +0000 UTC*UPDATED* This change applies to new members only . Members who joined before this switch to subscription billing will still be charged on the 1st of each month.
Just a quick update to inform you all that from 2nd October 2025, Patreon memberships will permanently default over to subscription billing, this change means you will now only be charged on the day you join, and then monthly on the same date.
There will be no further billing charged on the 1st of the month for any new or returning active members (as has been the default way up until now)
This is as per US Court Ruling for iOS Devices, so that payment can be made via the iOS app.
The good news is that you can now also gift memberships to friends or family.
